My fiance and I have been here since September of 2013 until he takes command next month in Ft. Hood and we love the environment. The only downside is its expensive and it's 15 to 20 minutes away from major places in the city. All in all its stylish and quiet!

I stayed here for 6 months while attending FACCC. I stayed across the street for FABOLC. Legend Park was a great living experience thought I did not use the pool or gym so I couldn't rate them. I did use the grill and that was really convenient having a gas grill set up there for you, all you had to do was bring your food. It was a quiet community, well lit and I felt very safe there. Only bad thing I could think of, and it was building dependent, was that parking could be a pain at times if you got home too late. Again, it depended on which building you lived in. The track around the pond was very nice to jog around. I wish both sides had a basketball court, it was nice seeing the on site security work by asking kids to leave the court that didn't live at Legend Park. The garages were definitely worth it, they were about the same cost for a comparable sized unit off the property grounds. You could fit a regular sized vehicle in there as well as some extra items if you needed to. Living here does cost more than it did across the street and probably costs more than most apartments in Lawton. However, I believe it is worth the extra money as my friends who lived in other apartment complexes complained constantly about the noise their units had, bad neighbors, people roaming the property that didn't live there, etc... I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely live there again if I am stationed at Fort Sill again. I had no issues with moving out, I gave them my 30 day notice and the assistant manager did a walk through with me and I was out of there in a matter of hours.

I've been here 4months and I like it alot. The people that work here are very nice. The staff is friendly and they waive deposits for certain circumstances.

Property grounds pools and amenities are nice if you are willing to pay higher than average rent and live on the east side of town... away from most of lawton finest restaurant establishments. Never mind that... what kills me, or I kill, is the bugs... lots of them! I have never seen so many crickets in my life! I come home after work or wake up in the middle of the night and.... "crunch!".... I kill or flush 3 or 4 a day. I was away for 2 weeks and vacuumed up 46 of the buggers. Yes I counted. :) They are worse than roaches in a motel 6. Also be prepared to be swarmed going anywhere outside after 8PM. I will happily relocate when my lease is up.

Do not stay here if you have pets and value your money! We moved out end of January and February we get a bill for over $1000 to replace carpet due to pet odors... However we own a steam cleaner use it regularly and have potty trained pets. The greatest part is they sent the 'steam clean' receipt that didn't include deoderization... So of course it will smell saturated the carpet and let it sit any carpet will smell... When we asked for a second opinion within days of receiving the bill a MONTH later they finally write back stating too late already replaced... Do not live here over priced and not military friendly.
