I've been living at Mill Springs for two months and I can't say enough great things about Mill Springs Apartment Homes and the Management team; Annmarie is simply the best property Manager I've ever dealt with. I've lived in high end apartments in Boston, NYC, Chicago, LA, the Bay Area, Brussels & Antwerp Belgium. The management and staff here are STELLAR; the most professional, considerate, prompt and courteous I've ever dealt with. I live on a second floor unit, there is very, very little noise from the apartment above... all of the neighbors I've run into are very courteous, quite and pleasant. It's a block or two walk, depending on which downtown restaurants/bars/nightclubs you want to go to and best yet, you're a short drive to several amazing wineries. The location is flawless.. It takes me 45 minutes to get to work in Silicon Valley (I leave at 6am) and it's only about 1:15 minutes for the nightly commute. Well worth the drive and a much nicer property, for less money, than anything I had seen there... The grounds are well kept the interior & exterior of the buildings are well maintained, and the maintenance staff are incredibly professional, friendly and exceptional at their jobs. I highly recommend Mill Springs Park Apartment Homes to anyone.

When I first moved here, I liked the place. It has a great location, and that was enough to outweigh the poor parking situation, the loud atmosphere, and the shoddy interiors of the apartments. However, in the last six months I have come to detest it. Sequoia Group took over the place around that time and began renovating the complex to attract future residents. Coincidentally, everything in my apartment started breaking. The fridge, the AC, the heating...you name it. And the worst part is that the maintenance team cannot fix anything. Every time they try, the problem only gets worse! Not to mention they take a week or longer to respond to requests. Also, I remember wondering why the apartments smelled so bad when I was looking at them before I moved in. Now I know. The wood underneath the carpeting is rotting, and you can feel it just by walking around the living room. As an engineer, I can tell you that their revamping effort won't address this problem. They will just try to cover it up so people don't notice until after they've moved in. The staff is far more concerned with trying to attract future residents than helping the current ones. They treat me and my friends who live here like we are expendable, ignoring our requests completely at times. It's no surprise that there is such a high turnover. When I walk around, I see tons of empty apartments, and now I want to get out as well. Who wants to pay $1500 a month (more for people signing leases now) to live in a place like this?

They try to pass themselves off as dog friendly but clearly they are not. We have a super friendly, loving, adorable mutt from the pound. A one of a kind. They were very weird about what she was mixed with. Wanted us to bring her in for an "aggression test"!? We're moving from out of state so this is completely ridiculous. What were they going to do? Kick her? What a waist of time. Dog owners should avoid.
