What a great living experience it was at the Ashford Apts. Every time I drove through the gates, I felt like I was entering beautifully manicured botanical gardens. I also felt safe and secure on the grounds for the past seven years. The location was so convenient, wedged between every imaginable restaurant chain, right near Maitland Boulevard and around the block from Costco, Target, Walmart and 436 . Over the years, there were only routine maintenance issues and they were attended to quickly. The management office was always responsive to any questions that I had and so easy to deal with. Even on moving out day, as the last packed box was carried out, Omair and Ephraim went out of their way to be helpful and kind during the process. Thank you Ashford for a great apartment experience.

I cannot believe that anyone would say a bad thing about this place. I have lived here for almost three years now and I am very picky. The tiniest issue I call them and they get right on it. The management and the maintenance people are very courteous and helpful. And the property is always spotless. When I read bad reviews from anyone I think they are ridiculous. I would not renew my lease if I had any problems whatsoever because I am so picky and I have no complaints. Just praise! Anyone reading those complaints should just come and check it out for yourself and you will see what I am saying is true.

I love my apartment. We moved last year when the new management company first took over. The rent was perfect; in our budget and comparable to similar communities in the area. This year, without warning, they've decided to increase our rent to what they're calling "fair market value" & is an almost 30% increase. For what, you may ask? Nothing. We still have the "standard" beige cabinets and beige appliances. In fact, our dishwasher barely functions and has never been fully functional. They upgraded the office, but I don't see how that affects me personally or merits an almost $300 increase to my rent. I've seen all the "comparable" properties; they have beautifully upgraded units at the same asking price. Never mind the ever-increasing "domestic drama" in the complex, I feel new residents should be aware that they're paying more for the basic generic stuff everyone else has for less.

This place is a polished turd. I was tricked by the beautiful landscape, and the customer service that I received by Melissa. They showed us the sample apartment, and it looked phenominal, SOLD! When getting closer to the move in day there was excuse after excuse for why I was unable to view my apartment. "the former tenant hasnt moved out yet", "new counters are being installed", "new carpet". Upon signing the paperwork and moving in, I noticed that there was a stain on my carpet (obviously not new carpet), the counter tops had been sprayed with a new covering and the whole place smelled toxic, and the grout was disgusting in both the kitchen and bathroom I listed every issue on the move in sheet. That sheet is obviously not even looked at. I was trapt in a lease. The walls are paper thin, neighbors are loud and rude, AND someones rims were stolen right off their car and placed on CINDER BLOCKS!! The maintenance team is a joke. Our door handle to the bedroom was broken and they came 3 times to "fix it" and it was never done. There was mold everywhere and could never get rid of it, no matter how much bleach is used. When we reported that we thought there was black mold, they came with bleach in a bottle and sprayed it then painted over it. There was an instance where the drain water from the shower in the unit above leaked into our bathroom. GROSS!! The pool is beautiful, when it isnt being occupied by NON RESIDENTS! The new management company will use money to "spruce" the place up, but you don't really you get what you pay for. We are very happy to be out of that place. Lesson learned.
