The one-star reviews here are trolling. Safe community, friendly and helpful staff. Plus whenever I have a problem, the maintenance people have fixed it that day. Love this place.

Great apartments. Economical studio apartment, newly remodeled. All stainless appliances, new washer & dryer. Rented for 2 years, signed lease for 2 more years. Pet friendly. Low cost utilities. Swimming pool & tennis courts on site. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Couldn't ask for more for the price. Plus very helpful office staff.

Yeah, this place still sucks. I have lived here for two years, and have had nothing but problems while living here. It started when I moved in. Was supposed to get a fully renovated unit with a washer and dryer. Well, my french doors were half hung, the lament flooring was laid over whatever was on the floor when they started putting it down, I had no washer and dryer, holes in my bedroom walls. a non-functioning shower, doors that had been ripped from their hinges, no working vent in the bathroom, and my kitchen cabinet was rotting away. By the end of my first year, I had gotten most of those problems fixed. To this day I still have holes in my walls and non-functioning bathroom vents however. And of course, new problems popped up. The brick facade is pulling away from the wood frame of the units. In fact, it is only being held in place by some metal brackets nailed into the wood. I know this because they punch a hole in my wall almost a year ago to find out why there was an awful squeaking noise coming from inside my wall. (Hole still un-patched BTW) When the wind blows, the wall moves these brackets on the halfway driven in nails, creating a lovely squeaking noise. The apartment managers are inept, and incapable of doing anything. Don't expect anything from them. They will not fix your problems without months/years of constant daily complaining. This place has got to have some massive code violations too. When they refused to fix my bathroom vent, they said it was because it "didn't vent anywhere anyways". Yeah, neither do the kitchen vents. Learned that when I burnt something on the stove on day. The vent hoods are unconnected to anything, turn them on and they draw smoke into your cabinets, and nowhere else. Do yourself a favor, look somewhere else. This place is way more trouble than it's worth. Only reason I have lived here for two years is because I am too damned lazy to move. Oh, and they clean the pool about twice a season, so that is actually nice if you can catch it right after one of those cleanings. Otherwise, I would stay away from the pool.

We lived in Post Oak Apartments from Feb 2009 to May 2010, and they have raised rent $100 in the last year. They have not responded to numerous service requests and then told us it was our fault the requests weren't fixed, because we "never called back to follow up." They also asked us to move out early, with a promise that our rent would be a pro-rated amount, then tried to get us to pay the full month's rent because we never filled out the paperwork that they didn't tell us about. The manager, Tom, and the girls in the office are never on the same page, and always tell us different things when we have a problem. And they are hardly in the office in the first place.
