This is one of the worst places I have ever lived in; I have been in a lease for a year and a half. The Pros: Great floor plans, lots of space. That is the only pro! Cons: The office staff changes every few months so if you work with the previous managers the new management will not honor any arrangements you have made, they will lose paperwork, and treat you like a nuisance for trying to hold the office accountable for promises made. The current office managers are taking any excess from payments and deducting it as a miscellaneous charge, zeroing out your balance, pocketing the money and not giving you a credit on your account. This is stealing no matter how you look at it. When asked they will go over and over the same story that it is for a miscellaneous charge as if you do not know what the word miscellaneous mean and assume that’s a valid explanation. There is no honest communication between the property staff and their managing company, and if you try to reach Bridge Property Management they will not answer or return your calls, they do not speak with residents. If the property and Bridge Mngt. are communicating this makes me question them as a property mngt. company since this place is beyond the lowest appropriate standard of living. There is no real security at this complex; they have a service that comes to the property once around 10pm stays for 10 minutes then leaves. There are police in the complex every week, several apartments and cars have been broken into in the past 3 months. There are always kids running in the parking lot, even right in front of the office, and nothing is done for their safety. There are always very untrustworthy people walking through the property to get to the very ghetto section 8 housing right across the street on both sides of the property. The apartments themselves are older, so there are always leaks. My upstairs neighbor is always complaining about their a/c leaking and not working. My a/c was also leaking when I moved in, and the units are in the apartments so I have found black mold on the inside of my bedroom wall, and the only closest water source to that wall is my a/c unit. That being the case I’m sure the upstairs neighbor is facing or will face the same issue. The office has done nothing about this and I am being forced to wait out my lease to get away from a brain damaging mold. Along with my a/c unit my dishwasher has broken and leaked all over my kitchen and living room on several occasions, and it took 4 months before they decided to replace it. If you have a pet be prepared to protect them and maneuver around other animals feces. There is no real areas to walk your pets, and what patches are available everyone uses them without cleaning up after their pets. Also be aware people do not keep their pets on a leash despite it being a city law. There are stray cats, raccoons, and possums that call this property home. The residents they have started to let lease here are one of the biggest reason this place is going downhill. These individuals are loud at all times of the night, they argue in the parking lot, and in the morning multiple cars honk their horns to alert a resident their ride has arrived. If all this is not enough people dig through the dumpsters, throwing out bags of trash, leaving a huge mess and making the place look more like a back alley then an apartment complex. Individuals have even put their kids into the dumpsters to dig through the trash. There are more issues but if you rent here after reading this then you will learn firsthand all there is wrong.

The people that work at Stratford apartments do not seem to care about keeping the community safe/organized. The front gate is constantly being broken, stray animals easily get inside of the complex, people from other apartments enter our community and cause trouble. The Gym is poorly kept, things get stolen and the lock malfunctions constantly. People have their dogs walk around without a dog leash and poop everywhere. The final problem I want to address is the fact that people speed through the area without taking into account that there are little kids playing. P.S There is no security at these apartments at all!

To start I have never lived at this complex but it was on my list of places to look into. When my girlfriend and I stopped in to get some information it was 4:30 and the man at the desk informed us that they weren't doing anymore tours for the place. Normally a tour takes ten to fifteen minutes(based on the seven I've had in the past week) so I thought this was a little rude but I'm sure he just didn't want to stay past closing. He really didn't want to talk too much about the apartment and handed us the brochure for the place. The one thing that I really disliked about this short visit was the complete lack of professionalism this gentleman had. Didn't bother to get up out of the chair to greet us, didn't want to go to any extra length for a potential lease, and worst of all he was dressed like he was going to the mall with his buddies(t-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes). Overall a disappointing experience and I will not be leasing from them and will discourage others.

WORST PLACE TO RENT! Ive lived here for 2years and the new staff they have now is so unprofessional! Especially the manager Adrienne. She is sloppy, forgetful, rude and unprofessional. She is on a total power trip. I transferred into a 2bedroom townhome in December and i STILL have many work calls that have not been answered! Call for workers to fix things in your rental and you will never have anything done. Ive had to personally call on private companies to fix things because they simply never get around to it! The rent price is ridiculous for such a GHETTO property. Drive around the complex and you will see trash overflowing from the dumpster, scary thug like people walking around (renters), The pools are never clean, the gates never close and always broken, you get about 5minutes of hot water, seriously as soon as my lease is up im out of here! Most ghetto complex on Medical Drive.
