Get everything in writing. Do not trust Lisa the new manager. I will not get my deposit and they will charge $1,000 for breaking lease due to emergency which I got approval from another whom I was told was the manager. Judge ruled against me in small claims which I did not expect. He did not see threw the greed. Do Not live here! Rent is way to high and they will burn you bad upon move out regardless how nice they are to you. She (lessa) says this is nothing personal this is a business.. Well I got the shaft and no kiss. Keep looking if your smart and want to save stress and Grief...
If you’re considering to call Valligio Apartments your home, I would reconsider. First, I want to say that I regret signing on the dotted line for a one year lease with them. I signed my lease mid April of 2007 and I am EXTREMELY excited that I only have 1 more month left here. I've been waiting to move out since December after I realized so many things who won't find out until you live here. Starting with the management, Tama, Crystal, and Alex (female), they are all FAKE!!! Once you sign that lease, they stop caring about you and start caring about the $$$ and when can they expect to get their bonus. Don't be fooled by their words. Next, if your apartment patio faces North, your only option for cable TV is through Strategic Technology. They are overpriced and terrible. Alongside with your patio facing North, it gets extremely sunny and hot during the summer if you're in the 2nd or 3rd floor. I had to wait until 9PM or so for the sun to go down and enjoy some BBQ with friends after work. Next, the bathroom sink is so poorly designed that your shoulder is literally touching the wall. Next, the sink itself is compact. When I'm leaning down to wash my face, not once do I have to worry about the handle hitting me as I lean down to rinse with my eyes shut. Next, the so call "fireplace" is fake as it is just images of flames burning with hot air blowing from the vent. We didn't have the opportunity to look at it before moving in because it was "not ready." Next, the light switches are poorly designed as it seem like they were drunk when installing them. It was mounted in the walls at random places and it was hard trying to hang pictures or whatever without a little modification. I had to sacrifice my doorbell to get a picture I wanted on that wall. Next, the "visitor" parking is so limited where you can not find one without you coming home from work/class early. Don't try leaving because you will have to park out in the streets. Cars have been broken into left and right if parked out there. Next, if you are expecting a package and mgmt signs it for you, they will NOT contact you whatsoever. You have to check the website and see if someone signed it our not. It's not too much to ask if mgmt can call you to let you know there is a package in the office waiting for you. There are so many more things I can say about this apartment, but let’s put it this way: Stay away at all cost; Mgmt loves playing the "fish and switch" game with you; Go elsewhere.
Lived at The Villagio for 15 months and hated 9 of them. Most of the staff are rude and act fake. They never answer the phones and most certainly don't return phone calls. The parking situation is a nightmare, people park in your covered parking spaces and the staff doesn't care. There official response is for you to park on the city street. The only good thing about the Villagio is the maintenance and even that poor man is over worked because there isn't a budget to hire more then one maintenance worker. Stay far, far away from this place.
