I lived at Willow Creek for roughly two years, and my overall review is poor. I'm not disgusted or upset with Willow Creek, but I wanted to provide an honest recent review for prospective tenants. Cons: - Kitschy, outdated apartments with old appliances - Thin walls made for poor sound insulation from neighbors - Poor carpet quality; they simply steam clean/vacuum at best before a new tenant moves in. My unit likely never had the carpeting replaced and was quite matted down in areas - Floor wall moldings falling apart or coming off wall - Poor paintwork - Lawn-mowing service cuts at 7-8am when I would prefer to sleep - Pet-friendly might be great for some, but my unit had two annoying dogs living next-door. They would bark constantly when their owners left them home alone - One load of laundry costs $2.00 - $1 for washing and $1 for drying; this was increased twice since I lived there - Cold, unreliable, non-communicating apartment manager Emily made experience very average - nice when I signed my lease paperwork but downhill from there; never called when there was something I needed to know and instead left notes at my door; never really seemed to like her job. Never once asked me how I felt about living there. - Loud heater and AC in units - Run-down tennis court and pool - A bit pricey compared to other similar size apartments in Waukesha/Brookfield Pros: - Location - No crime - Parking

The management staff behaved worst ever we have seen while giving the deposit back.Inspite of giving the correct address to mail the deposit, did not get to us,for mailing it the second time they charged us,under the sun we do not know why?..When we questioned why do we have to pay,the uptight management staff conversed in a fashion which almost sounded like if you do not want it go to hell..She was yelling. We just wish we were somewhere near to them, would not have left without making our point clear..Liars..
