Please do not live here. The first night I moved in, the apt was a complete mess - paint and dust everywhere. Oh and they don't "paint" the walls they spray paint the whole place so definitely expect a line of white paint on every wall. I've had to get my hot water heater turned up 4 times because my shower will keep going back to luke warm. Yesterday I came home and I had a huge puddle under my sink in my bathroom - my hair dryer, straightener, make up, and everything were all soaking wet. Maintenance will come and fix your issues if you find them on the property and tell them your problems. The work orders never seem to go through. My neighbor paid for new appliances all through her lease and they never put them in, so definitely don't pay for an upgrade. The pool is trashy, and also opened up way late this year. There are always leaves in the pool, and the hot tub has never worked since I've moved here. It is cheap compared to most Nashville apartments but please, pay a little extra or go a little further and get a nicer place - I promise what you pay here will not be worth it.
I lived here in 2010. I had to transfer from one of their properties to this one due to a break in into my apartmetns. I was very grateful that they let me move and did not raise my rent or make me pay an additional deposit. I enjoy my stay. It was a very quiet property. The staff was nice too. I would recommend this place to friends an family.
Personally, my good friends just moved here in June, and they have had many issues. Mold and mildew is seeping through the walls from the water heater leaking. Trash is never disposed when needed to, and the gates never stay closed. The office has terrible attitudes, and procrastinate their issues. This makes me see how unprofessional, and utterly lazy this complex has labeled themselves. Spider infestation, and broken air conditioner. Maintenance is terrible with time management, and achieving tasks and problems they are paid to do. Terrible drug affiliated areas in this complex as well. I would not advise any family or anyone in general to live here. Everyone of these responses from the workers haven't done a damn thing. I don't live here, but I will be sure to spread the word on how terrible and unsafe it is to waste a dime. There is no way they could pass health inspection, and I believe that's illegal in an establishment.
Do not live here, you will regret it every single day until you find a lawyer to help you end your lease. This place is damaged with no hope of turning it around. Mold, leaks, bugs, appliances that do not work, damaged floors and showers that will take months to get repaired. If you manage to get them repaired, something else in your apartment will get damaged in the process of repairing the original issue. They claim the never have parking issues, every single night cars are illegally parked all over the complex due to insufficient parking. If you are lucky you will find a parking spot on the completely opposite side of the complex. Have spoken to 30+ residents that all have the same issues and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau to help prevent anyone from making the mistake of living here. calling corporate offices will do you no good as they never answer the phones and will not return any messages that are left.
The staff have consistently been very friendly. The office staff always greet me with a smile. I feel no fear of crime here and therefore I enjoy feeling safe in my apartment. The neighbors and other tenants are always friendly. The gentleman who work for the trash valet are most accommodating and always pleasant when they drop by to pick up scheduled trash removal. Due to a mass renovation under way, I think the management must be aware of the leaks and burst pipes, etc which is one of the items I imagine will be addressed during the renovations. I have had a few issues with pipes bursting as the others mentioned yet when the office receives the maintenance request, I feel they respond accordingly and in a timely manner. There are things in every apartment complex one should expect that would include positive attributes as well as negative. I have mentioned only a portion of the positive aspects of living at The Landmark at Glennview. Thanks to the staff for allowing tenants to voice their opinions here. And another, personal thanks, for the fact the office accepts parcels for hold on our behalf. My husband and I are grateful for that service, too!
