If you want a courteous efficient staff to go along with the over 1000 dollars that you will shell out to live here in a "renovated" apartment, you are looking in the wrong place. Anytime you will make a call to the leasing office during business hours they never answer and will not return your call. If you happen to decide to walk down there you will regularly just find them sleepily sitting at their desks, watching tv, and clearly not busy. You pay monthly for extermination, but have to call a million times anytime you want it. Which means if you finally do get your apartment sprayed and your entire building has roaches (because of all the trash they allow your neighbors to have throughout your building) the roaches will be back. These people take your money and wipe their asses with it. If my lease weren't another year long and this area wasn't so expensive I'd be gone. Along with the multiple times I have been without water because of a water main break that can never seem to be properly fixed...this is the worst apartment complex I've ever lived in.
This is not an appealing community to live in. The "New renovations" are simply cheap makeshift repairs, paint covered holes and blemishes, old, rusted and molded surfaces that have been painted over, thin carpet that you can feel the nuts and bolts in the floor, faulty electricity, and lots of roaches to keep you company and that means on the wall, on the ceilings, coming out of the vents, in your sink, in your cabinets, coming out of your fire place, in your shower and so many other places you won't expect. The office staff is very rude at times and isn't very willing to accommodate or help you with issues in spirits of good customer service. The only office staff I would recommend speaking with is Krystal, she's very caring and attentive, but even then I wouldn't recommend you signing the lease. The units are just generally old and the property management obviously hasn't considered reinvesting in them. The kids in the neighborhood play with balls around everyone's car and during my first week someone keyed my car for absolutely no reason and the front office made no attempt to try and help even though they knew who the resident was that had been known for that behavior, Not to mention the fact the parking lot is poorly lit at night which is extremely unsafe for a woman. People constantly solicit food and products door-to-door on a daily basis, it's quite annoying, and because there's no seal on the front doors people can slide flyers right through your door into your living room just in case you don't open up. Also, the police in the area discriminate heavily against you if you're pulled over and you tell them you live off Old Holcomb in general because it's such a high crime area. All in all, if you just need a place to stay and have no standard, this is the place. If you're a well-kept person who takes pride in their home and would like to be able to have company over, then PLEASE continue your search.
Not a place where you can live peacefully. Infact, the entire neighborhood is ugly, on and off cop cars comming in and arresting people. Also had shoot out resently where the community was locked down along with the roads outside the community. No proper disposal of garbage, it over flows everyday. Car break inns is of the common crime at this community, which was said casually by a cop when he come to file a report. If this is not enough, be prepared for delays in any maintenance services. Staff at the leasing office is a joke, all you will get is excuses and no work done. Awfull place to live at. Please avoid this if you can. I know its cheap but it only gets you cheap standard of living.
I'm miss this neighborhood 😢😢😭😭
