I really enjoy living in Fox Meadow. I live in the town homes at the back on the complex. My neighbors are all really nice. I have a dog, and the complex is very accommodating to that (plenty of space to walk her, a dog park etc). I also have a washer and dryer in unit, which is really convenient though I am only a minute walk to the nearest on-site laundromat. The maintenance guys are on point. Whenever it is going to snow, they are always out salting the walkways and even shoveling you a personal path to your door. I also see them out picking up litter very regularly. I've never used the pool because there is an extra fee to acquire a pool pass. But overall, we have had no negative experience with neighbors, the leasing office, or the grounds. We just renewed our second year lease. This complex might not be for everyone, but it works really well for young professionals who like to socialize and save a little money before moving somewhere more long term.
I've been here for 6 months & haven't had any issues. When I had a maintenance issue they would respond & fix issue. No a bad spot. The plus for me is having a washer/dryer unit in my apartment. I guess I'm living in the better side of the apartments. I'm surprised with all these negative feedbacks which prompted me to write one.
Worst complex to rent from ever! They sweet talk you into thinking you are getting your moneys worth when in reality you are not. They are not as insulated as they should be so in the summer/winter your electric is $300+. I have had many issues as them trying to get more money out of me. Example 1: Put my check in the rent box the 5th of the month (last day to do so), get a letter three weeks later with my check back and being charged with $100 late fee saying that i did not put my check in until the 6th of month. That was a lie but how are you to prove it is? theres no way you can prove you paid rent the 1st or even the 5th. Example 2: when i was ready to move out, I cleaned the entire apartment. I mean I went and carpet cleaned for four hours, I spackled, I painted all the walls, I bleached everything. Three weeks later, at my new apartment, I got a letter stating i owed $662 for new carpets throughout the entire apartment. They claimed they were destroyed. WHen they sent the photos to my lawyer they looked like brand new carpets!!!, My Lawyer contacted them multiple times and with no response back they sent it to a CREDIT AGENCY!!, Now I am currently fighting them on it. They scam you so much. There are more examples but too much to write! DO NOT MOVE HERE. Scams, Scary place where ppl get stabbed and your car will get egged if its nice!
I compare with living in Philadelphia and it is so much better here. Maintenance have been very punctual. They had come 3 times a day if required. So can't believe some comments. Park and the courts could be maintained in a better way.
DO NOT RENT HERE! 1. The apartments are not cable ready, though they claim otherwise. You will find out once you try to get Comcast out to install that you need maintenance to install with them (!) and they are only available one day a week. Once you reschedule your appointment, you will find out that, whoops!, maintenance has to be there by 9am or they can't help you. Sorry. What a joke. 2. More about maintenance - they are flat out refusing to come fix my AC, even though it is over 80 degrees in my apartment and it was over 85 degrees outside today.
