i`ve just moved to fox meadow this january 2016 and i`m definitely not renewing my lease with them.they have screwed up since day one i was supposed to get the keys 12/30/16 so i arranged with the movers they uploaded my furnitures but we went there SURPRISE!! there was no keys luckily i didn`t turn in the old apt keys so me and my PREGNANT WIFE slept on the floor i was gonna cancel everything but that wasn`t gonna do me any good.we moved in to the apt the layout was good clean BUT since i`m on the 1st floor there`s not much heat on the master room and the only way to have enough is to close the other fans and still not enough knowing that my heat is set on 75.they sent someone to look at it he said this is a common problem for 1st floor apts and there`s nothing we can do.
HEED THE WARNINGS!! This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. Loud neighbors, drug busts, cops everywhere. OH! And if you are a week late on the rent, it will be sent to an attorney. You will be billed $100 in late fees and $200 in attorney fees. And don't expect any of your security deposit back. They will make excuses for every penny. I can go on and on. There is a laundry facility, buy you have to pay $2 to wash and $2 to dry and the washer/dryer are so small it takes 3 loads each! It takes me $12 just to wash my clothes here. Lets not mince words here, they are crooks!
This is definitely the worst place I have ever lived. The residents are ignored and treated like animals when there is a problem with their apartment. Most of the maintenance staff are miserable and don't want to be bothered...I have been told by more than one of them that they are treated horribly as well so that's probably why. The units are old and falling apart. Screen doors falling off...rain water leaking in through windows and soaking the carpet and furniture ... appliances are falling apart...bathrooms and kitchen are still dated back to the 70's...and the rent in NOT cheap. They can't even keep up with all the air conditioner/heaters systems that need to be replaced in all these apartments...so, while a tenant is required to pay all the rent for the month on time...they are going weeks and even months without air during these heatwaves or dealing with space heaters in the winter. The pool is large and actually very nice. Most of the time you have the pool all to yourself because it's too expensive to use it. Most of the residents here can't afford to join...but trust me...that's a good thing if you're living here. If you are rude...have no class...have no common courtesy...no respect for others...have no class...sorry...had to repeat that one...and don't care how you live...act...or look...then you should feel right at home here. If you don't mind all the beer bottles and liquor bottles sitting in the parking lots and stuffed in bushes...if you can deal with people parking next to you crooked and slamming their car doors into yours...if you don't mind struggling to find a parking spot...then you should be ok living here. Most of the people who live here come from places where class and courtesy doesn't exist...this makes it hard for the people who want a nice environment to live in. Maple Shade is a very overpriced and overrated town. There are too many apartment communities stuffed in this small town. These communities are either too expensive to live in or they are jammed with low class trash living in rundown units. Even the cheaper apartments are not cheap. Honestly, I really don't know how most of these people are affording them. Maple Shade is a drug infested town with overpriced homes that are shabby and need tons of work. The school systems were really good for a long time but now...they are really going down fast. If you are looking into Maple Shade to relocate...it's just not worth the expense. Most importantly...don't move into Fox Meadow !!!!
I have been here 4 years and this is the worst place to live if you are a human. There is feces all over the property. The pool house has human excrement on the floor. After 1 year the repairs and service calls are on the back burner. I would not recommend this for a dog to live.
This message is for any military members working at JBMDL. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. In my short stay of 7 months, my AC has broken two times and has had roughly a week to fix each time. I'm talking about living in 85 degree conditions. My fridge stopped working and left me with 200 dollars worth of rotten groceries. They offer ZERO compensation for my huge electricity bill because of the faulty AC or groceries. If you think youre going to save money by living here because of their 10% military discount, DO NOT BE FOOLED. The drive is totally not worth it... You would be better off on base. THANKFULLY, I have orders out of here, or else they would charge me or ANY first time leaser TWO months of rent for "early termination". Yes, you have to pay almost 2grand to leave a place worth toilet paper. What a joke. Maintenance, service, community quality, all of it a joke.
