This is definitely the worst place I have ever lived. The residents are ignored and treated like animals when there is a problem with their apartment. Most of the maintenance staff are miserable and don't want to be bothered...I have been told by more than one of them that they are treated horribly as well so that's probably why. The units are old and falling apart. Screen doors falling off...rain water leaking in through windows and soaking the carpet and furniture ... appliances are falling apart...bathrooms and kitchen are still dated back to the 70's...and the rent in NOT cheap. They can't even keep up with all the air conditioner/heaters systems that need to be replaced in all these apartments...so, while a tenant is required to pay all the rent for the month on time...they are going weeks and even months without air during these heatwaves or dealing with space heaters in the winter. The pool is large and actually very nice. Most of the time you have the pool all to yourself because it's too expensive to use it. Most of the residents here can't afford to join...but trust me...that's a good thing if you're living here. If you are rude...have no class...have no common courtesy...no respect for others...have no class...sorry...had to repeat that one...and don't care how you live...act...or look...then you should feel right at home here. If you don't mind all the beer bottles and liquor bottles sitting in the parking lots and stuffed in bushes...if you can deal with people parking next to you crooked and slamming their car doors into yours...if you don't mind struggling to find a parking spot...then you should be ok living here. Most of the people who live here come from places where class and courtesy doesn't exist...this makes it hard for the people who want a nice environment to live in. Maple Shade is a very overpriced and overrated town. There are too many apartment communities stuffed in this small town. These communities are either too expensive to live in or they are jammed with low class trash living in rundown units. Even the cheaper apartments are not cheap. Honestly, I really don't know how most of these people are affording them. Maple Shade is a drug infested town with overpriced homes that are shabby and need tons of work. The school systems were really good for a long time but now...they are really going down fast. If you are looking into Maple Shade to relocate...it's just not worth the expense. Most importantly...don't move into Fox Meadow !!!!
I have been here 4 years and this is the worst place to live if you are a human. There is feces all over the property. The pool house has human excrement on the floor. After 1 year the repairs and service calls are on the back burner. I would not recommend this for a dog to live.
This message is for any military members working at JBMDL. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. In my short stay of 7 months, my AC has broken two times and has had roughly a week to fix each time. I'm talking about living in 85 degree conditions. My fridge stopped working and left me with 200 dollars worth of rotten groceries. They offer ZERO compensation for my huge electricity bill because of the faulty AC or groceries. If you think youre going to save money by living here because of their 10% military discount, DO NOT BE FOOLED. The drive is totally not worth it... You would be better off on base. THANKFULLY, I have orders out of here, or else they would charge me or ANY first time leaser TWO months of rent for "early termination". Yes, you have to pay almost 2grand to leave a place worth toilet paper. What a joke. Maintenance, service, community quality, all of it a joke.
This place has the worst people skills. The maintenance department is a joke. I have had so many issues with them fixing anything. My AC unit has been out for two full weeks and I was told I was on the list but they would not get to me for another week. I have two dogs and two small kids and its 87 degrees in my apt. I advise looking somewhere else. The money I pay for rent is not worth it. I would rather pay twice the price in rent to live in a complex that takes care of tenants. I would not recommend this place to Isis.
DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. It was the worst place I have ever lived. It's tenants and staff are horrible with no regard for anyone else. I moved out as soon as my one year lease is up. If you do decide to chance it still, I recommend keeping a copy of all work orders you put in and any other paperwork they provide. They tried to keep my security deposit for dirty carpets that I complained about the first day I moved in. BOT A PLACE FOR FOR THE AVERAGE HUMAN TO LIVE
