The grounds are pretty and all. Like, ooo wow a fountain in a mini-lake... The apartments themselves aren't so amazing. Zero storage space. Tiny kitchen. Cramped bathroom. The worst part about Bradford Pointe, however, is the management. While we stepped out briefly to run an errand, someone came into our house who proceeded let our dog out of her kennel, and then locked the door behind them with our keys still inside hanging on their hook. When we came home to a locked door and a loose dog who had torn up the blinds from anxiety, we asked Irma in the office if anyone had been in the apartment that day or if anyone had access to a key. She said that they did have a spare key and kept a record of key accesses, but that only the maintenance guy could print that list but he had to go take care of 'emergency maintenance' so we wouldn't see who was in our apartment until the next day. When we asked if we could have the locks changed so that whoever was in our house wouldn't drop in again, Irma told us that we had to have filed a police report in order for the management to change the lock. The police came and talked to Irma who told the officers "Oh, let me guess, [our apartment number]?" The officers spoke with us after checking with her and told us that they couldn't do anything, and we would have to pay for the lock to be changed. We went back to the office to have a little chat with Irma, who had suddenly changed her mind and said that she'd be willing to change the lock, but next time there would be a fee. We still have no idea who was in our apartment playing with our dog...
Great locations, beautiful floor plans, fireplaces, fully renovated kitchens. Very pet friendly. Internet speeds are great, best of all a good price.
Roaches, worms, and mediocre staff. Anytime there was an issue it was it was either ignored or fixed "good enough" in quality. Had a large section of drywall that was never patched properly after a pipe busted in the wall, Air conditioning went out twice in the middle of hot July summers. Limited and very tight parking, both of our vehicles were damaged (heavily) from other vehicles. Upstairs neighbor had 2 large dobermans that ran around consistently, no resolve there. The apartment was in ok shape, laundry closet was tight and the exhaust for the dryer vent was clogged so I couldn't use my dryer, they said it was the dryer that was the issue but it works just fine. And speaking of closets, there are none, no coat closets, no linen closets, one small closet in the main bedroom, no outside/patio storage. Luckily we went with the extra den with our apartment which we used as a storage room. I would not recommend this property, they nickel and dime you for every little thing, then at move out threatened to charge us for the oven not being spotless even though there were massive stains on the carpet when we moved in and the whole in the bedroom wall. Three months after move out I received a collections notice that I didn't pay my final move out fees even though i have the cleared check that shows they took my money. Just a bunch of crooks at a very outdated and poor quality apartment complex.
If you only want a nice landscape then rent here. For the price in extra fees and horrible service you can get better elsewhere. Office staff was both disrespectful and negligent excluding the actually property manager whom I have not had much contact with . Recommend ATC Development properties for military and anywhere else for non pet lovers. Those with pets if you dont mind adding to a previous pets marks and paying a pet fee that doesn't include move out cleaning fees then rent here. Please if you have other options reconsider them because the lure of this place will absolutely disappoint you.
The apartments are decent - lots of eye-catching superficial details, but things like cabinets/closets were off in their fit. Overall average living experience. Never had a problem with loud neighbors, pool was amazing, grounds were great, parking is great. Location is pretty ideal. We did have a problem with cockroaches (1-3/week during their busy season), but we're not from this area of the country, so I didn't know how it related to regular living situations. Interactions with the staff were usually fine. Did have a few plumbing problems, they were usually very responsive, but still annoying to deal with in the first place.
