Lofts at SoDo is situated in a great location. Adjacent to Super Target, TJ Maxx, and many other restaurants and stores are in the surrounding area. Since the Lofts are just south of downtown, you are able to avoid the heavy congestion and road closures that come with living in the heart of downtown. The apartment itself is fabulous! Everything looks new and is in great condition. The amenities offered are great as well - pool, gym, dry cleaning service, lounge, etc. The maintenance staff is extremely quick to respond to any issue, even minor, so that your requests are taken care of right away. I can't think of one negative thing about living at the Lofts at SoDo!

Highlights - The staff. The front office is helpful and always friendly. Blanca and Jennifer are such an asset to that building. I hope they are appreciated by their employers. The building is going thru a series of upgrades throughout the complex that are all for the better. The residents are for the most part very friendly. They are about to open a multipurpose fitness room which by the looks of the pictures I have seen will be an awesome improvement. Low points - Pricing is a bit on the high end. I would be ok with this if parking were not such an issue. Parking for residents is limited to the top three floors of the Grant Street Parking Lot. The first three floors are reserved for patrons of the SODO commercial complex. God forbid you park your car in those first three floors too early in the morning or leave it overnight as they are quick to put obnoxious stickers on your car that are near impossible to remove and are very quick to tow your car. To make matters worse, with the limited parking we do have, all of the best parking spots are reserved for residents that pay an additional $100 a month for those spaces. At most, this new revenue generating stream will bring the owners $2,000 at the cost of further annoying their residents for an already disturbing parking situation in that complex. I can't stand businesses that nickel and dime their patrons. That is what SODO Lofts does. Building improvements are taking forever. The pool has been closed a good portion of the summer and is showing no signs of ending anytime soon. All in all, you can't beat the location and comfort of this building. I have lived in downtown Orlando and the SODO Lofts location beats anything a few blocks down the road based on the numerous business right downstairs that are available for residents. You will also be taken care of by a very professional staff. The actual apartments are clean and if you have any issues, they are quick to fix any maintenance issues. Beware however; parking is a nightmare, you will pay a premium for the convenience and are dealing with a complex that while making building improvements for the better appear to be taking forever due to the fact they are dealing with slow contractors or are not paying their bills on time as those two are the only plausible explanations for these prolonged delays.

I have been living here since January 2014 and LOVE it. My leasing agent Jennifer was very friendly and knowledgeable of both the complex and the area. The staff is always friendly and maintenance keeps the complex very clean. The location is a $5 cab ride to all the bars and you have a Target and 24 hour fitness in the SODO shopping center. That is a huge time and gas saver.

I have been living in SoDo for about 6 months now, and I love it! It's a great location and is close to downtown for work and play. And, for a female living by myself, the Lofts make me feel safe and is very secure. The community is also close to shopping, food and household needs. The SoDo area is growing which is great so there will be more to do within walking distance in the coming months. They recently went under a new property management company that is putting more residents "extras" into the community such as: an extra gym studio, car care center, new paint and more which is great. Also, the leasing ladies (Jen and Bianca) are great and always take care of my questions and apartment needs as they come up! The only negative I would say about the community is the parking garage scares me a bit because there's a few blind spots as you drive up and people speed, so speed humps would be helpful. And, take note that resident parking starts on the 4th floor which could be a bit of a pain if you don't live on the 4th or 5th floor.

My boyfriend and I have lived at SoDo since it first opened. I have looked at EVERY apartment from orlando to sanford and back. NOTHING compares! The convenience is amazing! I am afraid if I ever move out of here I won't ever be happy again. Being able to just get on the elevator and walk to Starbucks, chipotle, Target (which is brand new and a very nice one!) TJ Maxx, OLV (wine bar) oh and Flippers pizza! You will not find this convenience living ANYWHERE else in Orlando! Especially for the price! The apartments are still very new and have all brand new black appliances. The kitchens in the apartments are all beautiful with dark wood and glass top stove, very classy! There is also an amazing 2 story 24 hour gym that is right next door but you don't actually need to pay for the membership there because SoDo has their own apartment gym that is fully equipped and usually empty! The pool is beautiful and is equipped with two gas grills where there is a seating area with an electric fireplace. I would recommend SoDo to ANYONE! My boyfriend and I wish that we could actually buy an apartment here, we love it here that much!
