I moved in here about three months ago and honestly I love the property. They are doing so much to improve the property. The buildings are all changing, they have a dog park now, and they are adding several more things to the community. I see the person below wrote saying that there is a sex offender living on property apparently they didn't do there research right because this person never re-registered which basically means the person had to flee the property other wise officers would have showed up at the door. People talk about how there are bugs here well apparently they must live in a bug free environment because were ever you go there will be bugs. Some people can bring them with them. Personally if you are looking for a cheap apartment with a great community, I wish you luck. This apartment complex is amazing for how much you get charged in rent.
If you work any shift other than day shift, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The combination of obnoxious neighbors and never-ending construction projects first thing in the morning, make it impossible to sleep. The only thing nice about this place is the inside of the apartment. The hallways are filthy all the time and the tenants here suck. Also, I don't even feel safe walking around the parking lot at night with all the 20 year old punks drinking outside in large groups.
Lived their for 1 year and it was horrible. They changed ownership 3 times in 1 year. During the winter the window blew into the living room and snow was coming inside my apartment. I called maintenence and front desk and line was disconnected, as well as the door had a sign saying new ownership. They didnt fix the window for 3 days. Also I paid rent on time every month and I would still get notices demanding back rent for $1500 on a regular bases and have to complain for hours at office. Cops were their every hour throughout the night. Clear evidence this place is a drug dealing apartment also. Also barking dogs with bad owners everywhere. The neighbors were stealing my cable 2 times in a year and had to have cable company out.
I don't know what everyone is complaining about,I lived there for 6 months total. When I first came in Shandi was the one taking care of me,she helped me with all my issues. They didn't charge me anything extra when the lease was over. They're currently renovating the whole place, they painted the walls, changed the carpets and replaced the mail boxes. Shandi has an A+++ from me! Keep up the good work.
These apartments are not completely awful. However, they are awful enough for me to tell you to never even try to live there. They will seem wonderful and awesome when you go visit, but you will be screwed over. I moved in there in September 2012. I had just moved to Colorado, and the Summit at Thornton (now Ashford East 88) had really cheap studios, and they allowed dogs. Everything was going great until January 2013 when my garden level studio flooded. It was on a Sunday, so I called the emergency maintenance line and left a message. Then, nothing happened. I waited hours, and finally I submitted a request for maintenance online. Still nothing. Finally, 8 hours later, maintenance shows up and says that the cell phone bill for the emergency line hadn't been paid, so he hadn't gotten the message. No problem. He said they would fix the problem the next day, and they came and did it. So I thought. My apartment flooded THREE MORE TIMES after they "fixed" the problem. The laundry room boiler was leaking and it was flooding into my apartment over and over again. The finally fixed it, but it was too late. I had missed several days of work and had to move stuff onto the vinyl part of the apartment way too many times. I wrote them a letter a month before my lease was up, letting them know that they had violated the lease agreement and so I was moving. The lease binds them to fixing problems and keeping apartments in livable conditions. They failed at this part of the lease, so the lease was now broken BY THEM. They never responded to my letter. But weeks later, I was notified of $1600 they were charging me that is still on my credit report. I have attempted to contact them repeatedly by phone, email, and postal mail, to no avail. I filed a dispute with the credit bureaus, and they still refused to fix this problem. I would recommend you never even visit these apartments. They will ruin your life.
