My experiences with Autumn Woods so far has been pleasant. I myself and my girlfriend are students at South and we find this to be the most affordable option out there that is not a terrible place to live. We love living here, and could not be happier. Pros: Great maintenance staff, friendly lease officers, and very personable all the way through the administration. Cheap, best option out there for anyone living on a budget. Super Pet friendly. Secure. And a general sense of care and respect from the staff as long as you are not rude and pay your bills on time. Cons: Outdated, only two light fixtures in our entire apartment. (One above the table, and one in the kitchen. All the rest are switches for nearby outlets.) No ceiling fans, but yet you can see where they were once there and have been removed. The swimming pool hasn't been unlocked for the 9 months we have lived here. The surrounding neighborhood and some of the tenants can be a bit....sketchy. I wish there was a gate on both entrances rather than just closing one at night. Parking is okay. Tennis court is a joke and should not even be there. Neighbors can be bad, but that is uncontrollable. Mail service is great. Water is included. Plenty of Internet Options. Daily UPS and Fedex deliveries. Daily mail. Lenient staff when it comes to moving in, letting you pull on the grass closer to your apartment. Alot of other things I cannot list. Suggestions: Adjust rental prices online to include mandatory renters insurance, (minimum $19/month) and water ($40/month.) We pay $720/month but it is listed at $670. Also, tear the tennis court down and build either some other facility like a maintenance building or enclose it with a fence and make it a pet area for the countless people that have pets in the complex. And open the pool.
I've lived here for going on 3 years now. The only real issue with this apartment complex is some of the Tennants. The staff and maintenance are amazing and are great people.
I've lived here for 2 years and though some renovations are needed, it's a great place to live. I had my AC go out in the middle of the night and maintanence was out within 1 hour to fix it. The people in the office are always really nice and responsive. The rent is very affordable and I imagine that's why they haven't renovated yet.
