Thank you to all of the staff at Grand Oaks Apartments for making this place our home. A convenient half a mile from Bloomingdale Ave, 301 and I-75, and minutes from route 60, I-4, Brandon Mall and Tampa. There are mini malls all around us yet you would never know it in this quiet, secluded resident, covered with oak trees that shade you from the traffic and sun. Our one bedroom apartment has a cathedral ceiling, walk in closet and a pull down ladder for extra storage space in the attic. And the rent is very reasonable. The property manager Dawn is friendly, fair and caring. She will work with you as long as you communicate with her. My wife and I take peaceful nightly walks around our neighborhood and occasionally relax in one of the gazebos. I would recommend to anyone, become a part of this beautiful Grand Oaks family!!!
When I moved it a year & half ago, it seemed like a a fine place to live. But it's not a good place to live at all. When your apartment needs something fixed they take forever to get it done. The office Staff doesn't care about there Tenants, they just care about you giving them money.
This place is terrible.! They have an infestation problem in certain areas which is where my apartment currently resides. I have cracks in my room that give the bugs enough room to get in, No food in the bedroom and whatever crumbs we had we cleaned up. We just happened to have inherit the mess from the tenants before we transferred from the studio we had and she said we had ''deplorable'' conditions!! She basically called us PIGS!!!! trust me when i tell you there are people who have all their stuff outside and it's dirty! The management here has insulted us one too many times and we will not deal with it any longer.. Word of caution... save your money, go somewhere else. Doesn't matter what your situation is with the leasing office or your lease but they should not be treating tenants like this!!!
Unit smells like cat urine from the previous owner. Staffer stated that Wifi would be available anywhere on grounds; this was a selling point for me. Once the lease was signed and I moved in...no Wifi. When I inquired why, I was told that it was not promised in my lease and that my unit was too far from the office. So, no Wifi for me...Considering that was a critical part of my decision, I am very displeased with the units. Overall, they are competitively priced for the area but I would recommend going elsewhere, if possible.
This place is HORRIBLE. The apartment has more flaws and issues then any other complex I've lived in. I'm disgusted by this place, And left as soon as I had an opportunity. Don't make the first mistake of even going in, They will just lie and tell you the complex has full wifi when it does not. I was lied to with multiple things UNTIL my name was signed on the lease... Then all of the things I asked about didn't matter at all, And I was already just another annoying tenant. THUMBS DOWN for Grand Oaks.
