I've lived here for 2-3 years. Personally, I haven't had much of a problem like the other people on this review thread. When I have guests over I tell them to park in visitor spots or on the street so their vehicle doesn't get towed. My vehicle hasn't been broken into, I haven't been robbed. When i've had issues with maintenance (repairs), their crew takes care of it quickly and gets it done the first time( from my experiences). Not having AC doesn't bug me too much, All you need is a fan or keep the windows open during the summer. The new management, Judith and Ashely, are nice people who do their job well. The apartments are nice compared to the outside area. A liquor store is a quick walk away. Noise complaints can be a problem but in the lease they have a no noise tolerance, which I guess thy mean excessive noise, like hearing an EDM concert next door or above you. Either contact security or try talking to the person making the noise first to resolve any issues. The apartments themselves are good.. I guess it just depends on where you get put in the complex, (some neighbors are good, others are bad. If you have a problem with it, talk to management).
every apartment complex isn't going to be a 5 star resort but when i lived here it was good. i had no notes on my door about stupid stuff and it was usually quiet, i am not military so it being close to base didn't benefit me but im actually thinking about moving back in a few months cause its close to alot of things and they are set at a decent price. people give one star over the smallest issue!
Great price. The apartments are simple but nice. I believe her name was Heather in the office. She is always nice and wanting to help. Ashley, the lead manager on the other hand, I don't feel can be trusted. She does her job without care for anyone except the property, and it shows. She lacks honesty, and a desire to help people, not herself. The only other thing I would take notice of before moving here; this is a rough neighborhood outside the complex. The people in the complex are nice and good for the most part and the fences/gates do a good job of keeping the surrounding area people out. Other than that, I would recommend these apartments. Super low cost of living compared to northern Colorado and decent amenities. Good luck.
I currently live here and love it. The apartments are beautiful inside and out. Those other reviews are people who are mad about their cars getting towed. Management made very clear on how strict the parking was before i moved in. Now everyone who is indigenous to Colorado springs says this is in the bad neighborhood but being from Ohio i know what a bad neighborhood is. I feel completely safe. Its gated and locked at night with security guards at the entrances. Come and check it out its a great community, with a lot of military personnel so its fairly quiet and behaved. Make your own judgment guys.
nice apartments inside, rude mgmt. HORRIBLE AREA.three of my friends got towed . one was running upstairs not give minutes and they towed it. I crashed my car and it was towed for being "inoperable" when it wasn't. a friend was stopped at the stoplight fountain and Chelton and some one tried breaking in his car. you hear gunshots every day.the "year round jacuzzi" hasnt worked since I've lived there. just not worth the price. 900$ a month plus utilities. to live in a horrible area.
