I've lived here for 4 1/2 years now. Upon initially moving in I thought that this place was great. Gated, Pool, Hot tub, Park for the dogs and children, Small Gym and Computer lab. Somewhat roomy for one person, fireplace, balcony, dishwasher etc.. and the rent wasn't so bad. After a while I started to notice a change in everything and everyone. It took the repair guys almost a month to repair small things like my sink, or curtains. I'm currently waiting for my gas fireplace to be repaired and nothing has been done. Ladies in the office don't really like helping you if you're a familiar face. It was almost as if I was annoying to them. Every so often my check is late and I would just miss the due date by literally a day and due to the fact that "the computer wouldn't allow them to waive the late fee" i would get charged $50. I would pay it, but you would think after 4 years of being a loyal tenant they would help you. Rent went up every six months and i just received a letter that it will be going up again. I've finally decided that as much as I pay for rent I could find a house with double the space, a yard and some privacy. My personal opinion is that this is a horrible place to live and after being here this long I wish I had started with a house in the first place. Not to ruin anyone's experience, because not all experiences are the same..
So Sunday was my birthday. me and my friends went down to the jaccuzzi around 8ish. We were enjoying the bubbles talking and laughing being goofy. When this long haired gentleman comes down and says something. please understand 7 out of the 8 of us are Vets our hearing isn't good as it is but add bubbles and it's damn near impossible. we all say "What?" and the gentleman's response is "Did I stutter, you can't say what you did to my son. if you have something to say it to me." along those lines. We were all sorts of confused. We asked him what he was talking about and he walked away. We then realize we had a peeping tom from the pop apartment a women watching us. Weird right? we are waving at her and eventually she comes down. Its Jaime the lease lady. She sits down and watches us. I ask her for more details as to what just happens she says "she's the leasing lady. We don't need to know but she's going to hear to make sure that we don't say anything to anyone again." She kept asking my guests if they paid rent here and I said I do and they are my guests. She says we were disturbing her and she wasn't able to watch her walking dead. then she started taking pictures of us on her personal cell phone. I did have mouthy friend and when my boyfriend and I realized he wasn't going to shut up we pulled them out of the hot tub. But she wouldn't listen to us. Wouldn't understand that we had no clue what she was accusing us of. She was using her "leasing lady" Authority as if that meant anything. It be one thing if someone came to us and said "hey you guys are being loud." Oh our bads sorry. Like normal people. But to come down accuse us of yelling at someone and then baby sit us and then take pictures of us. No not okay.
The only thing good about these apartments is the apartmentsame themself. The management sucks I was told my son can't play and the lady underneath us complained during the day about my son playing so they told us we needed to leave we were only there for 1week and my friend who also just got back from a deployment like me got his car towed for having the parking sticker on the outside of his car this is not a family or military friendly place DON'T LIVE HERE
every apartment complex isn't going to be a 5 star resort but when i lived here it was good. i had no notes on my door about stupid stuff and it was usually quiet, i am not military so it being close to base didn't benefit me but im actually thinking about moving back in a few months cause its close to alot of things and they are set at a decent price. people give one star over the smallest issue!
Great price. The apartments are simple but nice. I believe her name was Heather in the office. She is always nice and wanting to help. Ashley, the lead manager on the other hand, I don't feel can be trusted. She does her job without care for anyone except the property, and it shows. She lacks honesty, and a desire to help people, not herself. The only other thing I would take notice of before moving here; this is a rough neighborhood outside the complex. The people in the complex are nice and good for the most part and the fences/gates do a good job of keeping the surrounding area people out. Other than that, I would recommend these apartments. Super low cost of living compared to northern Colorado and decent amenities. Good luck.
