I've lived here 2+ years and never really had any issues. Just hated the towing situation. People can't have their cake and eat it too smh complaining about how you get one parking sticker per person! Yes parking is really limited especially for our guest but hogging up 2 parking spot for both your cars is just selfish! If they were to extend visitor parking that would be AMAZING!!
I have toured this complex, have my apartment reserved and am anxiously waiting to move in. The apartments are large and the balconies are larger than any I have ever see. The views are to die for. I have met people in the parking lots and they seem content with the place and the grounds look fantastic. Did I mention the view**? I have been reading many apartment review sites over the last few months since beginning my search for a new place to live and I know just the type of person who comes here and leaves these 1 and 2 star reviews and comments. They don't tell us half the story. They are the kind of people you and I don't want as our neighbors. They park illegally, their friends take up our parking spaces, and they park their junker cars next to ours. Then the get mad and come here and leave these bad reviews. Come see Western Village and you will see. Living in an apartment is not as nice as owning your own home but these are much nicer than most for the price.
This place is awful. Of course you have to give it a start to post, but trust me, zero starts is where it falls- I've lived here for 2 ridiculous years and trying to get out as fast as I can! I can't understand how this place stays afloat. They tow peoples vehicles without any valid legal circumstances, the Property Manager, Ashley, will not talk with residents and her excuse is she can't say anything or make any decisions that it has to be done through the property attorney, umm hello "Property Manager" why not get off your lazy behind and do the job you get paid for, really not sure what her job is if she can't talk to the residents of the property in which she manages. They hand out demand for compliance notices without any real proof and they advertise their property as a gated community. The gates stay open all day and at night, people tailgate in like no tomorrow, might as well leave them open then too. They had security for awhile, but they were usually asleep in the car or would literally sit and watch people tailgate other people to get into the apartment complex and wouldn't pull them over or anything, just watched them drive by. This place is such a joke. Please just pay the extra to live somewhere else, or you're better off moving into an "extended stay" hotel. By the way we too have been told we are not only eligible for anything other than 3 month leases or paying $100 more to go month to month, you used to be able to sign 6 month or 1 year leases. Also, you get one parking permit for each person on the lease. So if you live by yourself and have more than one vehicle, you're screwed, they'll tell you to park your other vehicle on the road they own just outside the gate, then they'll tow it. They also advertise they have a gym, jacuzzi, and pool and that it's year around, that's not true either. You're lucky if they even open the pool or jacuzzi at all, and the gym, you usually have to hunt down a maintenance man yourself, oh yes, they tell you to find a maintenance man, to open the gym... The entire staff is rude and beyond lazy. Until this place get's new management, an entirely new staff, and an entire different company to run it, stay away. Please listen to me and several other reviewers, this will be a decision you instantly regret if you choose to move in here. Oh and your rent will go up every time you re-sign your lease. It started out as $10.00 and now it's gradually growing each time they send the re-sign letter.
I've lived here for a year and a half and have NEVER paid rent late, I don't party or make too much noise, I was told today that if I want to renew my lease I can only sighn a three month or go month to month and pay an extra 100 a month. I don't want to move right now with two kids and I feel like they are trying to force me out, from what I've heard they do this so they can raise the rent every three months. I tried to call and ask why I couldn't sighn a six month or year leese like I had the option too before and they told me it was because there were none of my floor plans open, so because all the apartments are rented you won't let me sighn a year leese deipite my never paying rent late? It makes no sense and when I moved in I was never informed that I would only be able to sighn a three month leese if the apartments were full. You would think they would want to keep there tennents who pay rent on time not force them out. I will be talking to a lawyer.
I live here, I have 2 cars. I'm only allowed one parking permit. I keep my 2nd car outside the apartment complex everyday all day. My primary car in shop for 2 days. I parked in front of my 2nd car in front of my apartment to unload groceries. My car was towed after 1.5 hrs. That car and the license plate is listed on my contract with western terrace as my property. There is no reason for Western Terrace to have let them tow my car. 271.00. They have had my car about three hrs now. How much of a cut does western terrace get?? No loyalty to their tenants!!! I CAN'T REMOVE THE ONE STAR!!!
