Beware. This place may LOOK really nice on the outside. Even on the inside. But the quality is cheap. No insulation. Windows don't shut properly. Poor construction. Poor timeliness on repairs. Lumpy carpets. Poorly located (I can hear EVERYTHING outside my window. It took me months to get used to it and I sill can't sleep well here from all the traffic.) Faucets always breaking and door handles and towel stacks falling off all the time. They may have a nice pool, but that's about all they have to offer. Way over priced for what it is. I do NOT recommend.
Management is terrible, was better about 6 months ago. The apartments are so cheaply constructed, you will hear eveerything going on in the apartments around you. The dog park is usually flooded and muddy and they will hassel you when it comes time to terminate your lease. They give barely any notice of anything, I got anotice they were going to go through all of the apartments and inspect the morning of said inspection. Everyone got a two day notice to change their renters insurance or theyd be in violation of their lease. Cell reception is atrocious, and the pricing is far too high considering your heating/air will always run if you dont shut it off, because the windows are so thin. Sad because the place had a lot of promise, lived here for 15 months with a long lease, it was great at one point, right after they started leasing. The change in management, and the cheap construction, these apartments will not last. Great location to say the least, decent clubhouse, nice pool, but the biggest annoyance: its a "Gated Community" with a gat that works half the time, and no fence to actually keep people out. There are police living there in order to control the theft. I strongly would suggest looking at other options. This place is neither economical, or luxurious.
There are more choices and better apartment communities to live in other than here. The club house is probably the jewel of the entire place. Let me break it down piece by piece. - Although the apartments are somewhat nice, the appliances are cheap along with the windows. Single pane glass will cause your electric bill to sky rocket. Paid more for electricity in a one-bedroom than I did for a two floor townhouse at Longhill Pointe (Down the road). If you live on the side facing the main road you will never see the sun in your home. If you live on the other side you will see the sun everyday. - There is a small dog park that remains muddy most of the time and is where all water that runs downhill flows through. It is almost never dry and many of the pet owners do not pick up their pet's waste even though there is a dog station right there! - You will find dog waste all over the grass inside the community. Good luck walking your dog around the area and not stepping in it. - Parking is atrocious especially if you live in building 3 or 4. Management refused to assign one spot per resident so you get lazy people (including Soldiers from Fort Bragg) with multiple cars using all the spots right in front of the buildings. And the best part are the Soldiers that park in the handicapped spots even though they are not disabled! Aren't they wonderful?? You of course get to park in the overflow spots down the road. - As for gated community....well you be the judge of that. If you consider the two entry gates that serve no purpose other than an inconvenience then they are gates. There is no fence that secures the entire community which is why crime is high. Anyone can walk around the gates. See for yourself as it is comical. Crime is so high there are 2-Police officers paid to live in the community. - Management does not enforce any rules or policies and make changes when they see fit. Bottom line, there are numerous places around Fort Bragg cheaper and nicer to live in. This place is a huge disappointment.
