I've lived here for 5 years and the staff and maintence are outstanding they do whatever they need to do to make you feel at home I will never live anyplace else
I thought this was a good place to live but please read before you sign your lease!! First of all if you live downstairs there is NOT a layer of concrete between the floors like they say it is. Also, when the upstairs apt runs their shower, bath or flushes the toilet, it sounds like niagara falls in your apartment! Also they nickel and dime you for everything...even if you choose to pay your bill online, they charge you a 2.95 monthly fee to send you the bill and 10.00 to set it up. They also charge you 7 bucks for pest control, 6 bucks for trash and oh yes, you MUST get charter. They package it like it's a plus but in reality you will be getting two different bills from charter if your monthly bill exceeds the 35.00 "saver rate" they have. Also the rules do not apply to all tenants. If you are a certain race and you complain it falls on deaf ears, if you are of a "lighter" race and you complain, they will move heaven and earth to make you happy. Case in point: I complained for many months that the 4 children and 2 adults living above my head were making unacceptable noise (why would they even move 4 children above my head? I have been asking myself that question since they moved in) I called to complain and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Yet another neighbor that lived across the hall had the very same complaint but she only had 2 children above her head but those people above her head were forced to move to another apartment. I also complained about the noisy children outside of my window, nothing happened. As soon as caucasian people complained, the problem was rectified. I never play the race card but this is not a coincidence. Also, when it came to renew my lease the first year, my rent went up at least 40 bucks. When I asked why it went up so much they said it's because I had a new stove and fridge. If you choose to live here please please heed my warnings. You would do much better buying a house for the prices they charge and they will go up on your rent every year after you move in. Don't believe a word they say.
