Good location. The apartment is quiet. Most of the people who live there are Asian or Indian. The apartment is old, and the appliances are old as well. The main lobby has a retirement center feeling. The office ladies are mean, and they are often not available during business hours. Over 2 years, no matter what help I needed from them, the answer was always "No, we can't, we are not allowed to do it." Do not expect that they will help you with anything. one week after i left and returned all my keys back to them, they refused to help me open my mailbox to get my mail. the explanation was: it is against federal government law. Pretty crazy. So i lost a lot of mail between switching apartments. lose your key(sensor)? replacement fee is $80, first i thought she said $18, second i thought she is joking, then it is all real, $80 for a small door sensor? retail price is $3.95. who said it is security? one of the building doors was broken the whole time I lived there. that was how I get in and out of it after i lost my door sensor and refused to pay replacement fee. one afternoon I was studying at the lobby sofa and fell asleep during the daytime. the office lady wake me up, and told me I could not sleep there. come on! i was a resident there for 2 years, she obviously knows who i am . They advertised" make iroquois club your home", and i can't even take a nap at home. the cleaning lady and maintenance guy were very friendly. i saw them working there every weekday.
Contrary to other posts, I have found that the office management is very friendly! Very helpful as well. This property puts a lot of $ back into it. All within the past year... New woodworking throughout, fresh paint, ( inside and out) remodeled weight room, new carpeting and a lot of landscaping as well. I have been here over five years and have had nothing to complain about, at all.
DO NOT MOVE HERE. Bottom line, the management is awful! They are very rude, lazy and careless. They are always smoking cigarettes inside the garage (WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED!), I usually have to cover my mouth when I park my car because of the terrible smell. it took them several months to fix my broken windows during the winter time while the freezing cold air was seeping in, this caused my heating bill to skyrocket. It takes the staff incredibly long to fix anything, plus they do unnecessary updates all the time like completely redesigning the workout room, or rebuilding the tennis court when there are hundreds of other more important tasks to be done. The swimming pool is overtly disgusting, nobody swims in it because the water is always dark green and full of leaves, most of the time you cannot even see the bottom of the pool because of the lack of cleaning and maintenance. They also built a tall fence around the entire pool area so you can no longer sunbath in the grass or have your kids run around and play. They did this because a few people complained about the noise. REALLY? WAKE UP! You live in an apartment complex, you are not guaranteed complete silence! If you don't like the inevitable sound of kids running around and playing, leave Iroquois Club and go buy a house! Its such a shame that the staff doesn't want to take the initiative to take care of this complex. It has the potential to be a beautiful place to live, but the staff is more concerned about themselves and how much money they can rip off of you.
Iroquois has been great! Standing shower and full size washer/dryer. Maintenance has been prompt and the location is safe and quite.
I have lived here for a year now and it has been great. It has always been super quite and the building is under new management, Would definitely recommend!
