I love the vaulted ceiling! It allows in so much natural light and helps keep my apartment warm, even when it's freezing and snowing, and makes the space feel so much bigger. The office is fast at responding to questions and concerns; emergency maintenance responds incredibly quickly for whatever reason you need them. The apartment has some obviously new features, which is awesome, but not all the new features are compatible with the older pieces (like the carpet and closet doors) and some of the older pieces that haven't been renovated yet clearly need help (cabinet doors that won't stay closed). We knew we were moving into a work in progress so all-in-all we are happy with the current state. My one big wish is that there were enough hot water for everyone
We've been pretty pleased with Vantage Point. The new management that took over in the late summer (The Collective at Glendale) are really responsive and take care of issues in a very timely manor. I was home on maternity leave and there was a wasp in the apartment. Yes, I could have killed it, but with a newborn, I just didn't want to risk the chance of missing it and having it attack the baby. I called and they sent someone over right away. It's little things like that that make living here really enjoyable. We've been really pleased and will most likely be continuing our lease for another year (only wouldn't if we found a house to buy). The apartment itself is pretty nice. My only complaint is the kitchen. I wish they would update their kitchen drawers. They clearly have been replaced in years past, but don't actually fit and we're constantly fighting with them. Not the biggest issue though. The walls are thick and we never hear any neighbors, which is great with a baby there. All and all, we love our apartment. Keep up the good work Collective!
My boyfriend and I moved in here in early June and have had little to no issues with the building or management. We never made it out to view before having to sign a lease but we were pleasantly surprised with the place. The apartment had new carpet, decent appliances, and was spotless. A new management company has taken over since we've been here but they have been doing a really great job of getting maintance done in a timely matter and dealing with tenants.
I lived here for a year and the company we had before wasn't great but was much better than the one that took over only 2 months before I was set to move out. The new company that is currently there is called collective something or other. They lost the entire file for my apartment, claimed I never filled out my move out paperwork (because it was before they were there, in the file they lost), they lost my rent check and proceeded to charge me late fees for it, they charged me for xcel after I already moved out, and double charged me for my other utilities for the last 2 months I was there. I have called and fought with them numerous times and every time they blame each other and give me different answers. I wish I could give them a negative star review, I would never live in a place with that poor of customer service and that much disorganization. I feel sorry for the people that are still there.
There is a bug and a mouse problem, but the property management company switched recently, and they are waaaay nicer than the last group. Affordable, but not the best.
