Don't let the lake side view, the beautiful common areas by the main office, low rent and free utilities fool you. It's all utter garbage. It's a huge hassle every time I pay my rent. They want certified funds which is a pricey pain. You can pay online with an overpriced service fee. Maintenance is a joke. I had an issue and when I reported it the office attempted to give themselves permission to enter AFTER I said no. When they finally came they acknowledged the problem but never did any follow up and closed the ticket. The office staff are friendly if you're a prospective resident or a resident with no problem. But that attitude does a 180 the moment you have any issue. They say they have security here. I've seen cops answering calls but no private security in the time I've been here. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this joint.
Don't even want to give the complex one star! Horrible management and despicable maintenance with near zero work done. Changed the lease to six months after thinking about the quality of the apartment overall. Maintenance includes a leaking air vent, roach infestation, fire alarm goes off randomly, and it isn't the battery, stove drawer doesn't close, front door someone busted through, and told in the beginning the trim on the door would be replaced. Also, told that the matting carpets would be deep-cleaned, and never done. Took them four months to repair the damaged living room wall, and the damaged wall in the master bedroom. Still waiting for the closet door to be ordered for the spare bedroom, and it is well over the five months I've stayed in this apartment. If you read this, do not move into the complex under any terms, ever! Someone is controlling the money, and wants nothing done with it.
I m going to contact the owners of this property. I don’t know what type of management company your are running, but I rented an apartment at Biltmore on the lake and it has been let go for years. The only reason, i rented this apartment was because it is on the lake. However, your two people at the office Joe and black hair chick are useless. WE MOVED IN AND COULDN’T GET OUR SHOWER TO WORK. SHOWER A MAJOR NECESSITY AND SHE TOLD US, WE GET TO IT WHEN WE GET TO IT, WTF IS THAT? Major necessities don’t work and it is OK with you? I PULLED FRIDGE OUT AND FOUND 3 ROACHES HAVING A FAMILY REUNION OVER A CHICKEN BONE! HAVE YOU CLEANED THE APPARTMENT????????????? We don’t have a screen on one of our windows which doesn’t close properly either, hello, come rob me all. Your fitness center is only open when your employees decide to work, perhaps 9 to 5 as the rest of us! OUR MAILBOX IS COMPLETELY OPEN, WHICH IS FEDERAL OFFENSE, yet none of your incompetent management people put any effort in fixing that issue! Additionaly, our landry room and our parking has NO LIGHTS!
I was a licensed real estate agent in the 2000s. This horrible complex is in the ghetto (drugs), is overpriced, unsafe, and trashy. I worked as an apartment locator. It was my job to take prospective residents to this apartment. If they were placed, the apartment would pay my broker a commission out of their advertising budget. At the time I worked this property, it was known as Bay Club Apartments. We, the real estate agents worked with many troubled clients. There was an expression that went around all the offices, "just Bay Club them!" We could place anything here. They worked with any problem. The leasing agents at the time were Cindy, Charlene, Mary, and a young man whose name escapes me at the moment, but he was in his 20s and wore glasses. I know of what I speak, and I speak the truth. I believe a lot of problems at this complex started back in the day, and there may be no coming back.
Worst apartment complex ever one person tells you one thing another tells you another. Live there almost 6 months pay my rent on time. I live on the side with free utilities. That means all the crack heads are out bugging you when you leave your apartment. When I moved in I told them I work from home no problem this is a quiet complex we have plenty of people that work from home. First months lots of noise outside call office oh we are sorry we don't have anybody else who works from home. My dad was in the hospital dying in California. Needed to find out about breaking lease oh you have to pay us 920 and then two months rent, so no funeral had to stay in the apartment since my rent was only 515 in a small studio how the hell could I afford that. One night wake up burning skin and then over the next couple days find out I have bed bugs. Now I moved in with nothing was there six months and got all brand new furniture piece by piece. Now I am suggested to throw all my furniture away and leave my apartment (remember I work from home) They will exterminate over the next three weeks oh and remove everything out of your apartment by the way. So I stay place to place for three weeks manager says no problem we will work with you on your rent. Go in to pay rent you have 115 in late charges there are no notes. I move back in with nothing pay all the damn late fees stuck in a damn lease and they don't give a shit. This is why we have so many homeless people in the world because of apartment complexes like this. We want late fees when we made you basically move out of your apartment so we can spray it because our complex is roach infested and has bed bugs. I will not renew my lease I will tell everyone in the complex and on the internet how they are. Every time you call you talk to someone who is there first day. Every time you talk to someone they are assuring you they are putting in the notes they never answer there phone and they have a different manager every week they completely suck.
