Falls has been my home for the last few years and this place is simply amazing. Great environment, the management team is friendly and super responsive. The tennis courts are amazing and well maintained for the most part. Given the central location, being next to restaurants, shops and trax station makes this place even more attractive. Overall super happy with the place.
Good management. Quick to repairs and very helpful. Neighbours and others living seem to be fine too. Nice tennis court and good play area for children. Though i dnt have a kid myself, the children playing there seem to be happy :) peaceful place, very near to groceries, restaurant and Cresent View station.
So far my experience at The Falls has been great. I moved in eight months ago and have yet to have a single complaint. Every time I have needed a maintenance person, one heads right up and addresses whatever it is I need. The office staff is friendly and always happy to answer questions. My apartment is nice and very good for the price. On top of that, the location couldn't be better in my opinion. There are a LOT of places to go within a five-minute walk. There's a park right outside to the north, a Best Buy next door, a GameStop, coffee shops, a full bar at BWW, pizza, burgers, HuHot, and much more. I don't want to move.
I lived here for about a year and a half and had pretty mixed feelings the entire time. Things started out rough when I moved in; we were shown the model (which obviously looked nice), but when we showed up for our new apartment, it hadn't been cleaned, the walls were all painted a pretty nasty green, and there was no microwave (also, the dryer was old and leaked oil over a bunch of our clothes within the first month). Fortunately, the property manager at the time (Cassidy) really helped us out: she got us a microwave, replaced our dryer, and painted everything a normal color. She was the best, and it was an unfortunate day when I found out she had left the property. The management that took over about 6 months into my lease (early-mid 2013) were not even close to Cassidy's level of service. They were rude when you would stop by to ask a question and eventually stopped accepting shipped packages with limited notice to residents. When I moved out, our apartment was 100x cleaner than what we left it; the manager found probably a 1/4" piece of black on our stove liners and decided that was worth charging us for a set of 4 new ones. Guaranteed it was the cleanest apartment she had ever seen on checkout, but she couldn't just not charge us for something. Also, don't forget to give 60 days notice. We read the fine print and followed the rule, but I read some reviews where they went to give 30 days notice and got hosed. As far as fit and finish, they were average at best. It definitely didn't compare to the well-kept model. Three things ultimately forced us to move: 1) the neighbors above us sounded like they were constantly stomping around in an elephant-like manner, but they were soft walkers up the stairs, which lead me to believe the apartments were just ill-built and not-at-all-sound insulated. This was confirmed when new, louder, and larger people moved in and it was 10x worse. I tried talking to the folks upstairs, but they would never answer their door. I could often hear the guy's music below us too. Same deal, would never answer his door. 2) parking was atrocious if you have multiple vehicles. There was a couple times I had to park at best buy and move my car early the next day because every spot was filled. 3) they jacked up the rent something like $90/month (10%+ increase), which I found unacceptable for the quality of the place and all the complaints I had. We moved out before all the stores moved in by Scheel's, so I imagine the sole intersection to get out of the complex is even worse now. It was nice to live by the Trax station, but the cons heavily outweighed the pros. Think about your decision carefully! It would probably be fine on the top floor with one vehicle, as long as you don't expect good service and are ok with not being able to order anything online.
This place is not at all safe to live in. My bike was stolen from my balcony from 1st floor.i.e. someone actually jumped into my property and stole the bike. After this incident i don't feel safe at all because you never know who may brake down into your property. Apartment office has no control on security. When i raised the issue to office staff they said these kind of stealing are not under there control and they can't do any thing about it. then i asked them for an extra door lock so that i can sleep at night peacefully, for that they replied saying that i have to personally purchase a lock because its my problem for safety. the only help they can do i to ask the maintenance guys to fix it. The staff is hope less.... they just know to collect money and least bother about services and convenience of residents.
