I lived here for 2 years and now I don't, I just moved out. I actually ran away from these apartments. I can go on and on about the bad experiences I had living in these apartments. You have to expect something everywhere you live, but NOT inside your home. When Richard was the manager here at these apartments, you can clearly see how well taken care these apartments were. You can notice when he left, if he did. I never saw him again. These apartments are Roach infested and no matter how many times they send out letters to pick up your dog droppings, it wont happen. People do exit the entrance gate so watch out because I almost got hit once or twice. If you browse for these apartments, you will find that a man has shot his wife and then shot himself, but you can't find out which apartment it happened in. DO NOT expect a notice for water shut offs, maintenance entering or fixing the problem in your apartment while your out, or for the accidents that you will occasionally see cops surrounding the complex for. You pay for Trash, Gas, Water, Pest Control, and some other fees. I had a 2 bdrm apartment so it was my rent plus $40 extra for what they charge. Here at my new apartments, I just pay water and trash. Yaaay!! So Good Luck with these yucky apartments.
My prior neighbor was doing the drugs for almost 2 month, I reported to the management office also the police, non of them can help until the neighbor moved out. The on-site manager have no authority for most of the things, and when you call to the headquoter, it will mostly been transfered to the voice mail, and never get back to you, PLUS! The stuff in the headquoter is very rude and with huge discrimination against people with accent.
When we first moved here this place was great. Now the new management has made everyone want to move out. We had to take down blinds, remove plants, and clear off our patio. There is a current hunt for a child predator exposing himself to children. They have hired a security guard to try and catch him. You should ask about this if you have children.
If you are looking for "luxury" or a happening singles scene, this is probably not the place for you. If you want a pretty quiet, nice place to live, it's good for that. There are a lot of families and kids. It's not on a major, busy street, so you can go walking with no problems. There is a library right across the street and a small park also across the street. I like that there are trees and a lot of greenery around. I've lived here about a year and have not had any problems. When I have had to put in a maintenance request, it was handled in a timely fashion. The office staff are pretty friendly and professional. The only thing I don't like is that you have to pay extra to get a covered parking space, and they are not always convenient to where your building is. NOTE: make sure you see your where your unit is located before paying a deposit. Some buildings are right next to the dumpsters, and it gets smelly and gross. I feel sorry for those people. If you want to sit outside on your balcony or patio, you are looking right at dumpsters ... and smelling them too. I'm glad I'm far from them!
Very quiet place to live. No problems other than parking at night, but that's anywhere. Pets are OK.
