was wishing I could give 0 stars but I was forced to do one I am disappointed in the new management there after a shoot out one resident had with the police (mind you this is supposed to be a secure place to live) I decided to no longer reside there my lease was up at the end of the month so I didn't see a big deal they called me every day to convince me to stay. And when I refused they told me even though my lease was up I still had to pay next month's rent I agreed even though it was unfair. Signed my papers and moved on with my life. 3 months later I get a paper from them stating that they have charged me from January 31 until may 1st when I moved out on the 31st . But that's not all they claim I had some trash left behind in my apartment so they figured someone was living there that's why I was charged also. Along with the charges a eviction notice that I was unaware of and a light bill!!! I was outraged the manager Nikki states she can't do anything I'm confused on how I can be evicted from somewhere I have not lived in 3 going on four months. Oh and to put the icing on the cake I got charged for pet fees and I have no pets not one pet fee but two . Charged every month for the washer and dryer and trash pick up for every month I wasn't living there. No officer contacted . Neither did the office. When I asked why they never sent me anything the witch responded we posted it on your door . I asked why didn't she mail it she stated she didnt have my updated adress but she sure had it to send me this bill . Moral of the story don't waist your time or money they love to take advantage of you and charge you for every little thing even if it doesn't pertain to you
Austin Creek Apartments are some of the best apartments I've lived in for a long while and certainly one of the best in the Fayetteville, NC area for the price range. It's conveniently located near Ft. Bragg and close to one of the post commissaries. Traffic is moderate along the main roads surrounding it and there is a bus stop right by the gate. The layouts are nice, amenities are not bad, and most of the neighbors are quiet. Crime is minimal to non-existent. The office staff is so nice and is always trying to help out and plan simple (family friendly) events. Maintenance staff is very nice and helpful and can always be seen busy doing something useful. You can tell that the company which owns the apartments really cares about their investment as they are always improving something, repairing something, or updating it. (In the few months we have lived here they have: expanded the play area, refurbished the public bath near the pool, added a new soda vending machine near the pool, and re-striped the parking lot.) For a single person, a pair of room-mates (each room has a bathroom attached!), or a small family these are a real find. Definitely recommended!
