This is a fantastic place to live. I've been here for almost a year and I'm looking forward to renewing my lease for another year. Maintenance is always friendly and quick to respond to service requests. The office staff members are always smiling and happy to see me when I go in, and they even sign for packages if I'm not home to receive them. I like that I have the option to rent a garage for my car, also. Location wise, it's got to be the best place in North County. I can walk to 3 grocery stores, multiple restaurants, and even a place to get a massage! What more could you want??
A side from the animal feces and the really small covered parking moving was a breeze. People here are nice but I did see some enter my vehicle with out permission while I mas moving they did not take anything just left an add for satellite service on top of a box. Then wile I had the cable guy here I had a tenant of a different apartment bother him with questions while he was working on my apt. Rude. The maintenance and office personal seem great and the amenities are the best. Over all like all things some really good and some really bad things happened but it's not the card it's how you play it.
Staff here is "checked-out" and not customer friendly. When you have an issue they show little to no concern and do not enforce their lease policy if it doesn't benefit them. Find somewhere else to go. (disclosure to Carmel Terrace) Don't contact me to inform me of wanting to address the issue, you didn't care to hear it while I lived there. Thank you.
Been renting now for almost a year and a few months and I must be honest to say that it is not a bad place but the rental office staff is not at all customer service oriented. Here I had a simple mistake made in my monthly rent payment where I transposed a number incorrectly through portal which allows you to enter your check and routing number which resulted in them sending me a fee of $125.00 late fee. I always paid my rent on time and never had any mishaps but just for this minor mistake this level of fee is applied? The management did reimburse my account $50 dollars and not the entire amount but it still does not convince me that these sort of events are only to make money and nothing else. I will be looking to not renew my lease after this one is up. Note to Senior Property Management: If a person is late by mistake being made by transposing numbers while entering their checking/routing number then no need to fine them but possibly a warning that the next occurrence will result in a possible late fee or fine. To do it from the inception is kind of "Petty" to make one believe that in life no mistakes can be made and usually when an email can be sent it could be rectified immediately without the fanfare.
Worst apartment complex ever lived at. Haven't even lived here a full 10 months yet. People are partying constantly and getting drunk and yelling in the middle of the night. Came pretty close to calling the cops. The pools aren't even heated so only good in the summer. Not everyone, but many people find reasons to try and complain about you all the time. My husband and I always mind our business, gone at work throughout the day, come home and are very quiet and yet people have complained about us more than once for the dumbest things you can think of and that we hadn't even done. I bought a puppy to surprise my husband, had to go to petsmart real quick and buy him a few things, he cried in his kennel a short while... IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY...not at night and someone complained. Windows were closed and everything and they called my husband so that surprise was ruined. And yet we hear dogs crying all day constantly but we aren't the type to complain. I suggest if you are considering an apartment to look elsewhere. You will have absolutely no privacy and people watching our every move just so they can call and complain. Management does the worst job of handling complaints, very unprofessional and we're just sick of it. And they have the worst parking ever, anything bigger than a car.... good luck, you'll be trying to fit in a spot for awhile. They tried to scrunch as many spots as they could into a small complex. Way over priced for what you get.... and if you have dogs and want hard wood, good luck affording it. A complex that allows dogs should have hard wood in the living room in every apartment. If you want the hard wood here, your easily paying over 2 grand after pet costs and the cost to have that and for a very small apartment. Not worth it, get a house! It's not for us and we will not be renewing our lease in a couple months!
