BEWARE - When you move out, you WILL have a HUGE bill...they will charge and overcharge for everything under the Sun. If you break the lease they charge 4 months of rent, not just 3 like reasonable properties in addition to lots of minor fees that add up quickly. It was initially a good experience until some black kids dragged all of the concrete benches and swimming pool chairs and threw everything into the pool....and then upon moving being hit with exorbitant fees. I'm not saying that rules shouldn't be followed, but there's a difference between Northwest Woods being compensated vs. sucking you dry and abusing their leasees because they no longer choose Northwest Woods. They are abusing their position. They replace their property manager every few months. Since I've lived here, they replaced the property manager 4 times....and that's in one year. What does that say about leadership/upper management?
I am trying to pay some money, I owe to Northwest woods apartments. I called them yesterday repeatedly between 5 and 6 and nobody would answer the phone. I lived there 5 years ago and got a job working for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, which is in Columbus 50 miles outside of the city limits. They told me to pay for two months, which I did and give them a letter to prove my employment, which I did! Then after I moved out and turned in the keys they sent me a letter saying I owed 1000$ for breaking the lease early! I only had 1 month left on my lease after paying for two months, for 690$ Why would I pay 1000$ to break a lease one month early!!!!! Nobody told me that, this is a very unsavory business practice, especially for government employees who are forced to relocate. Now I am doing work for the FAA in Virginia and can't get an apartment because Norhtwest woods has a judgement for that 1000$!!!. I am prepared to pay the 1000$ for the unsavory business practice, but later I plan to re-address this in legal matter. I need to have this judgement lifted immediately so I can rent here in Virgina and complete my new Job for the FAA. I don't have time to play phone tag with Northwest woods Apartments. My old address was 11615 Lumberjack drive apartment 105 Northwest Woods Apartemnts. I almost bought a condo with there leasing company, Nexus, now I'm so glad I didn't because if I would have gotten relocated by the government again, god only knows how much your company would have charged me!!!!! Which is absolutely terrible!!!! I need to be contacted immediately, I have the money to pay right now!!! But later I will have to sit down with a lawyer and have somebody explain to me how this happens and determine how to prevent this from happening to any other government employees! If you work for the government don't live here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is low key an well kept but also well over priced
