This place is awesome! I came in to look for an apartment and the staff was super helpful. There was already someone at the front desk and in the side office, so one of the maintenance guys stopped to ask if I needed help and got me a coffee and a muffin while I waited! The property and apartments are beautiful. Huge, green lawns all over with tons of flowers. The leasing girl showed me the model, which was the same floorplan I was looking for, and it was awesome! Tons of room, full-sized washer and dryer included (!!!), plus they do accent walls for a really good price and offer the first one free! It's stuff like that that can really make a rental place home. The community amenities are great too. The current management took over not long ago and added tons of stuff for residents--brand new grills, a pool table, laptops and a printer, and they're even putting a pet wash station in! I'm so excited to live at Stone Mountain with my family! The apartments are great--they even have full appliances in the kitchen including a dishwasher, which is awesome for my lazy self ; ) I love this place!
What the what! Who is leaving these reviews The apartments aare great. Staff is friendly and quick to respond. Maintenance rocks! There must be some bitter peple out their for those other reviews.
Apartments are in decent shape. Walls are extremely thin. Was woken every week at least once by neighbors fighting. Rent is quite high but it is Colorado. Definitely give a five star perfect rating to the leasing agent Emily. She is extremely knowledgeable and some of the best customer service I have ever witnessed. She is definitely a shining star at this facility!
If I could give this place negative ten stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE, absolutely the worst experience I have ever had and to think its only been 6 months. When I moved in this place was nice, kept up and quiet and owned by Holland Residential, then Echelon took over. Since then its been nothing but a DOWNGRADE, the trash compactor broke weeks ago with trash in it and full. Still has not been fixed and they haven't even gotten the trash out of it so it smells awful. Now there is only 4 smaller dumpsters for over 300 apartments, yes I said 4. Those are only dumped ONCE A WEEK! It looks like nothing but a shithole. The office staff is rude and doesn't respond to any complaints all you get is oh sorry sorry, no they aren't sorry because they don't give a shit. On top of that there has been multiple break ins within the last 2 months and cars being stolen. Now we have apartments that came in right next door to us and have no parking due to them taking it all but nobody has addressed the issue after weeks of complaining. They have let complete trash move in, people who are running through the apartments at all hours of the night. The pool is a nightmare, everyone brings 10 people with them and by noon on a weekend there is no place to even enjoy yourself. The mail situation has been the latest issue to make me very irritated. I had a package delivered by the Post Office a few days ago, the mail lady put a slip in my box saying please pick up in office, went to go to the office after waiting 20+ minutes to speak to someone they informed me there was no package there, weird becasue I had delivery confirmation. Next morning I called the post office and spoke with the manager and mail lady, the mail lady remembered the package due to its packaging and size and knew exactly when she delivered it and then come to find out according to our mail lady this has been an ongoing problem that MULTIPLE packages have went missing since this company has taken over... besides the fact that the taking peoples mail is a FEDERAL OFFENSE. Needless to say this place is a joke, do not move here you will be completely unhappy and its overpriced with no security.
Echelon property group took this property over and they are terrible!! I tried to renew my lease for a month and a half and I got the sticky note treatment (sorry we are busy, we will write down on a sticky note your apartment number and get back to you when we have time) After 2 times of getting that we decided to call and ask to have it sent over email. After several times of no phone calls in return I finally got a hold of Brooke who said that she would send it asap. After a week Of no email I called again and she apologized and said she had to get with the property manager to get it sent. Well I never got it and after another several phone calls to the property manager she called back and said it had only been a week since I tried renewing my lease. Terrible company, terrible communication, terrible management.
