when i lived here i thought it was too expensive and nothing but tweekers go through the trash, also a guy got stabbed by the mail boxes on christmas eve when i lived there, black guy got shot and killed outside the year before that on of the neighbors told me and then after i saw a drug bust by undercover cops in the complex parking lot. com on really? really? this is stupid to have happen or hear about when you pay to move into a place you think is nice. the area is not even good to live in if you have a small family.
I've only been here a few weeks so this review might need some updating later on down the road but so far, my fiance and I love this place. By far the best part of our move-in and lease has been the wonderful miss Maria Martinez. She is kind, understanding and just as friendly as can be. When I say this little lady is on top of her duties, I mean it. She has responded to every single email, helped me with every little issue, answered all of my questions (and let me tell you, I ask bunches) and she calls me back when I leave a message. At my old apartment complex, NONE of that happened. It feels like it's too good to be true but we're living here now and yes, it's that good and yes, it's true. :) On to the unit itself: it is a little older complex so the walls are thin. We can hear our neighbors upstairs and the water in the pipes but this place feels like home. If this is the greatest problem we have hear, this would be the best living arrangment we'll have ever been blessed with! Our two dogs love it here. The pet rent is perfect: $50 for both pups! Other places we were looking at quoted us $50 PER DOG. What?! Rancho Vista takes the cake in that department. The only thing that might deter a pet owner is the $400 deposit per animal. A little high? Yes, but I'd rather pay that up front than worry about any damages that may occur during the span of our lease. It's the price you pay for your fur babies and since living without them wasn't an option for us, we were happy to do it. Our living room is HUGE. Our kitchen, though lacking a dishwasher (read: drying rack, lol) is quaint, adorable and offers plenty of storage space for all our groceries. I love the look-through from the kitchen to the living room. It really opens the place up. Our room is the perfect size and we love the bathroom. The unit we are in has this extra hallway in front and we're making use of it for storage. The apartment was originally a little over our budget, but factor in the cost we would have shelled out for a storage unit and add in the convenience of having that storage right at home? Couldn't be more perfect. I'm not sure if any other units have this feature but we feel exceptionally lucky to have found this one!
