Appliances are nice, and amenities are nice. Be warned that some apartments don't have windows, which I find odd. The other draw back, as others have mentioned, is the thin walls. It can sound like you are sitting in your neighbor's kitchen. If you have considerate neighbors it can be tolerable, but if you have loud neighbors it can be unbearable. Getting out of here was terrible. We tried our best to comply to all policies, including paying rent when we weren't in the apartment, but they still charged us for every last tiny possible thing they could. It was incredibly frustrating.
Everything about the apartment I just moved into is great. The bathroom is well designed, the kitchen is amazing and the layout is incredible. The only complaint I have is the walls are paper thin. It appears based on the historical nature of the building the thickness can only be covered so much.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. Besides "luxury" being a complete LIE about Southern Stove Lofts, the people who work the office are rude and unhelpful, the apartments are dark and dingy, the bathroom sinks are the size of a bowl, the walls are paper thin between units, and worst of all, the parking lot is completely unsafe! Cars have been broken into several times during my one year stay and my car was towed TWICE for NO REASON. The office employees refused to help and refused to admit they were in the wrong. Additional reasons to not set foot in this place - the pool is disgusting. It's never cleaned. The "game" room is hideous, also dirty and dusty. There have been bug outbreaks in several units. Finally, internet is "included" in rent but it never works. It can take hours to load a simple website like google. Stay away from Southern Stove Lofts at all costs.
Full of young professionals. Not a frat house. Nice amenities. They do however only use directv as a cable provider which can be a pain during inclement weather.
Great place to live! Only drawback is thin walls esp. In the third building
