I lived in this apartment for two years. The trash is overflowing at most times. The Yards are with dog poop and didn't have doggie bags til recently like last year considering you're paying $25/month for pet and $150 per deposit. A lot of plumbing issues in the complex I was in due to the apartment upstairs since it overflowed and affected my apartment and I asked for them to come and dry the wet carpet but they didn't showed up til 3 days later and after 3 calls. When it rains the water seeps to my apartment and wet everything in the bottom of my coat closet. This apartment is close to everything BUT they charge as much utilities as you would typically pay if you own a home and even charge you for $40 for carpet cleaning when you move out without your consent even when you leave the apartment clean.
I moved to The Park at Olathe Station about a year ago and have nothing but great things to say about this complex. The day I moved in, staff accompanied me to do my move in walk through and were eager to help with any issue that I needed taken care of. Any issues I had were dealt with that day. Yes, there have been a couple changes in management since I've lived here, and while that can seem stressful or disheartening as a tenant, imagine this from the management's point of view. Anytime I enter the leasing office, Kim is there with a smile on her face and ready to help me with anything I need. In addition, she was very helpful in working with me to sign a short term lease recently, which I have never known to be the case with any other place I've lived. I have seen her many times walking and chatting with tenants and sincerely getting to know them. I get the genuine feeling that Kim cares for our community and is doing her best to make improvements as issues arise. If you're interested in living in a community where the move-in process is a breeze, safety of the residents comes first, and you are actually treated like a human being, I recommend checking out The Park at Olathe Station.
I love this place. I was looking for a place close to work & one of my sisters told me about The Park. It is so lovely here, quiet & just a wonderful place to live. Kim & the staff have been great to work with. Kim always answers any inquiries I have & the staff are great & dedicated. I have told many of my friends that if they are looking for a great place to live where the tenants are treated well & with respect, they need to check out The Park at Olathe Station. I won't be moving any time soon. Kudos to Kim & the staff, you are all awesome.
Very nice apartment complex and convenient to everything you could possibly want! The office staff here is wonderful and Kim is especially nice. When I moved in, I was starting over and had nothing and she gave me a twin size be for my son. Our stove broke when we moved in and she herself bought us pizza for dinner until she could get maintenence to replace it the next day. She goes above and beyond. She is always here working even on her days off and is a wonderful caring person. Maintenence is a little behind but that is more of a staffing issue. The apartment complex is wonderful.
We have lived at The Park at Olathe Station for almost 3 years. It's actually our second time living here. We lived here back in 2009-10, the only reason we left was because we needed more space. I'll tell ya right now, more space doesn't mean better. That's why we came back. Yes over these last couple years, they have had a couple changes in management, each with their own issues to try to solve. Recently the new manager they have, Kim, is TOP NOTCH. When she showed up, she had problems from the last 3 managers they've hired. She has done right by me and my family. Whenever we have had a problem, she's on it. This Halloween (which was on a Saturday) we came home from trick or treating to a flooded kitchen from our dishwasher. I took some pictures and emailed them Kim and called and left a message. Sunday afternoon there was a knock on my door....it was Kim. She came to take a look at the dishwasher. She did a couple things and determined someone else would have to come look at it. She apologized for the inconvenience and handed me a laundry card so we could wash our towels. She had a repair man at our door first thing Monday morning. What other manager would come to your apartment on his/her day off? Seriously! Kim is working hard to resolve some of the issues from the previous managers. You see her constantly walking the community and addressing any issues that arise. You can tell she takes pride in working here. She also makes a point to get to know the residents. Beyond that, this location is perfect. It's located around tons of shopping and restaurants. The schools are also great. If you are looking for your next home, seriously consider The Park at Olathe Station.
