Love the building, love the staff, love the view. I looked at numerous places downtown and this was the only place that felt like a home. The architecture is breathtaking with traditional classic St. Louis design, but with a modern twist. My town-home had a modern but elegant touches, and my patio, one of the best views in STL. The garage is secure and with a 24/HR door-staff I'm never worried about unwelcome guests. The staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate so I'm not really understanding the previous negative review. Throwing out the trash is simple, there is a trash receptcal on every floor. The pool is the only negative as it really is not a pool at 2-3 feet and very small. However, the rooftop does make for a good social gathering spot and has free BBQ pits and great views of the city. Energy efficient to say the least. My utility bills never exceed 125 a month and that was in the middle of the summer with a two-level 2000 sq/ft town-home. All electric makes paying the bills a snap and everything else is included in the rent. No Charter or Satellite, so you are at the mercy of AT&T Uverse and Internet. Miss my Charter internet but again, minimal complaint considering all the positives of my experience here so far. With on-site cleaning services, dry cleaning, and attached restaurant, free basic gym and lounge areas, smoothie king, coffee shop, and ice cream shop - you never have to leave the building. If you want to get out an explore the city you are pretty much in walking distance of everything fun downtown. 1 block from the Blues and Wash Avenue, and just a couple blocs from Busch Stadium and the Dome. The newly renovated library is across the street and a few minute cab ride from anywhere the city has to offer. You can even jump on the metro with a station just a couple blocks away. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone.. you won't be disappointed.
You never feel at home at the park pacific apartments. You are unable to throw your trash out after 10pm and most of the day on certain days of the week. They close all of the amenities at 10pm which is the main attraction of the building. The management staff sends out emails constantly telling you of the things that you are not allowed to do in your own home. The facilities are beautiful and you wont find a nicer building in downtown St. Louis. However if you want to have the feeling of being at home this is not the place. You will feel like an unwelcomed guest the entire time. Needless to say that as soon as my lease is up I will not be resigning.
