There are no words to describe this apartment complex. One of the worst places you can come across. Dont even give a second thought just by looking at its landscape. Here are some pro & cons pro : pretty looking landscape cons : Shoddy office staff : Nowhere else can you find such inept management staff that have absolutely no clue about how to run a community. I guess it starts right from the top. The manager Pam is one of the most intimidating, overbearing, completely inconsiderate person who wont even listen to your issue completely. She runs the show with the single motive of shutting down everyone's voice. I guess she prefers all residents to have a DIY policy when it comes to maintenance issues. Inefficient package handling : If you get a package that is delivered to the office, be prepared to come with all evidence that indeed there is a package. They wont trust your words. Might even outright deny your package. Oh...but they do a good job of dog-sitting. Feel free to drop by your pets, the staff will gladly take care of them for you. Maintenance staff : They are a bunch of jokers. I guess enough said. They too prefer residents follow a DIY policy. There were some good members in the staff but all of them left. Robin was one such person. Atleast one smiling face in the staff. She has since left and moved to a better community. Good for you, Robin. "You should have done this ages ago". The current group wont be smile at you and are always under the impression that they are at war with the residents. Price: Way too much for a property of its caliber. If you had a choice & need to move into this area, I would suggest Creekside or even Regent's Center / Crown Chase. They are all close by and if not a good landscape atleast they seem to be priced right with a better staff. Preserve I guess had its hay days but its long gone now. The staff is in a dire need of some community training.
And that star is only because it won't let me leave them all empty. This place is the absolute worst. The only competent person that ever worked in that office is now gone and everyone that's left is rude, lazy, and completely unable to do any part of their job successfully. Anytime we go in with a question, concern, or even to get a package we end up waiting for at least 15 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us. The man above us is always blaring music so loud with so much bass that our walls shake and pictures fall down. When I went to talk to the office the only response I got was "Well, he's been a resident for a long time." Anytime we've had a maintenance issue they are either never resolved or take months to be resolved. The office staff doesn't communicate anything with the maintenance team and neither of them ever seem to know what's going on at all. We've gone without a dryer for four months throughout our lease term, and when the maintenance team comes to "fix" something they leave our apartment a disaster. We even found blood in our apartment after they left once. We don't even call unless it's a huge issue anymore, because it's not worth it and we don't want them in our home without us there. The cherry on top is that they are wanting us to pay $70 more to renew. They should be paying people to live here at this point. People are moving out left and right, and the property manager Pam is no help to tenants at all. She does nothing but either ignore issues completely or passive aggressively respond to everything we say. We cannot wait to leave this place. It's been absolute hell living here!
I noticed all who wrote a positive review went anonymous, that's funny. This place takes the cake. . . I've never lived at a more ineptly staffed apartment complex in my life. Good thing we are doing a month to month rental & paying a 300 dollar fee to get treated like dirt. First Month:Construction all hours of day and night. Second Month:A plethora of minor maintenance issues. Third-Fourth Month:Neighbors above us stomping all hours of the day & night, even as I type this message @ nearly 2am. Told by staff to provide proof, call law enforcement or get an associate to be present during the disturbance. Police refused to help, going to speak to Pam tomorrow who has issued a memo with a portion dedicated to making all tenants aware of good neighborly conduct. Look up Apartment Management Consultants, LLC.-They manage this property & have quite the track record. STAY AWAY FROM HERE.
lived at The Preserve for 2 and a half years. When the apartments were owned by Fogelman Properties it was way better. The office staff is not very knowledgeable about anything, besides Robin. Robin was always amazing and very friendly. She is the only one, she needs to get out of here before they take her down too. I could walk in there and stand in the office waiting for 10 to 15 minutes with no one saying anything to me. Multiple times I had packages that were lost in the office. The manager Pam is not friendly, Very rude, makes excuses for anything that is wrong, and is probably the worst manager I have ever met. She is even worse than Melody that worked at the Preserve before her. They wanted to charge me for a "Cat" smell when I moved out. I have never had a cat because my husband is highly allergic to them. We had just got the carpets cleaned and the smell was the damp carpet. Parking is awful here. If you get home after 8pm any day you are expected to park very far from your apartment. The parking was already terrible and then they added reserved parking spots for an additional fee, and that made the parking even more terrible. People will park in the fire lanes and the apartment doesn't do anything about it, but they will tow your vehicle if its in a reserved parking spots. Fire zone is for the safety of the residents. The apartments have terrible drafts through the sliding glass door and windows. So you should expect high electric bills. They put wood floors in on top apartments and they sound being below them is extremely loud. They charge you $70 dollars just to move out of the apartments. The apartment also charges a $300 pet FEE that is not refundable. Our rent jumped up atleast $100 dollars while living here. No one picks up after their pets. It takes forever for them to do the snow removal in the winter. The kitchens are done extremely cheap and have no cabinet space. I had some of the best neighbors living here, but they are all moving out as soon as there lease is up. That just shows how terrible this place is. I feel bad for residents stuck in a lease. DO NOT MOVE THERE. So glad we have left this cheap overpriced hell hole.
This place is the absolute worst. If you have a maintenance problem do not expect it to get fixed in a timely manner. In fact, when it does get fixed I'd say 95% of the time it isn't done correctly. There is absolutely no communication between the maintenance staff and the office staff. In addition they will nickle and dime you to death. You'd be better off somewhere else.
