The apartment is great and I really enjoy living here. It is very quiet and I am rarely disturbed. The staff is extremely friendly and responsive, especially Theresa. I recommend the apartment.
Do not live here. They will nickel and dime you for the smallest things. Rent gets raised an insane amount each year. Unsafe, lots of car break ins. Mold is a huge issue on the windows. (They will say that this is your fault, or blame you if you "don't know the area, or are out of town") Lived their for 2 years and the office is a mess. They never remember if you call, lose work orders for maintenance, and generally don't care about issues like neighbor noise and parking in fire lanes. Apartments also had rat issues. DO NOT live here. Maintenance guys are nice, but the office people are absolutely rude. Last time I went in Kelsey talked on the phone when I tried to ask her a question. She didn't have the decency to even put it down for a moment. Really, poorly managed, bad area, not worth your time.
This place is a joke , many illegal immigrants here. Kelsey the apt manager is letting every one move in here... What happened to background checks and credit ratings... There are 4 familys living in one apt and the front office are aware of the situation and does nothing about it.... When you move out go ahead and get an attorney, trust me your going to need one, outrageous repair bill even though you keep your apt nice and clean, the head maintence will make up things that's not even broken when they do there walk through, have a video camera with you when you move out, so you can show your attorney, that no damages were done in time of moving..... Oh yes the breaking in to cars , and apartments , I have personally caught numerious people vandalizing, breaking into cars and apts. and it seems office says its not our problem. I have taken matters into my own hands numerous times... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO ANYONE.... This place is over run with drug dealers, and users. the gym and pools are all infected with staff , so DONT SWIM IN THE POOLS. this place sucks.
We have lived here for almost 5 yrs now. No problems, quiet neighbors, no police activity as some complex's. Exlnt location for everything yet very private and pretty surroundings. Have heard other comments and absolutely can not relate! Have had services and they come in timely manner and always have done what need to be. I like the way the apt's are staggered so we dont have to look into a parking lot, or a neighbors dining room! Lived in other complexes before here in Fed Way and left very quickly due to security, and theft reasons. Reserve is well maintained, quiet. I never thought I'd live in same apt so long -but we have been happy here! Some people are never happy and complain of thin walls, old building construction, loud neighbors? Well all this happens in ALL other apt's also and can happen in single housing neighborhoods too. PS Dont care for the new trash system however. Dont like trash on front porches- but not a deal breaker regarding living here.
Well..well..well, where do I begin? Hmmm let's see, I've been living here for about 2 years now and boy have I experienced some grade A bulls*%! Ok, so when I moved in I was paying $885 a month for a 800 sq. foot apartment. After that lease ended, I renewed which shot my rent to somewhere around $941, I then renewed again which then skyrocketed to $971. I now am paying $1,047 a month for this piece of crap apartment. Here are the issues I encountered while living here... After the winter season of 2012, the corner of my bedroom started to get soggy and moldy. I called management who had maintenance come out. Soon as the maintenance staff came in, they immediately looked at my sports team decorations of my apartment, they could tell I wasn't from Washington. After looking at my molded wall, the maintenance guy felt the need to blame me for the mold saying that since I'm not from the west coast that if I don't turn the fan on after every shower use, that mold would form in my apartment. He then went to go look outside my window to see that rain water had flooded behind my wall, due to me being in the ground. They patched up my wall and told me to keep this high powered fan on for 2 days to dry up the wall. I asked if they would help cover a portion of my bill for the fan being on the whole 2 days, management told me it wasn't their responsibility. The mold came back 2 more times in the same spot. I went to management to see if they could relocate me out of the ground due to my 3 year old getting sick from the mold. They responded with "Sure no problem" that will be a fee of $720. I asked did it go toward next month's rent? They said no. I immediately became pissed and demanded to know how to break my lease. I had had enough of this place. The bullsh*% prices, the horrible maintenance staff, the idiotic leasing people, the countless notifications on my door about me adding my dogs to the lease..I HAVE NO DOGS!!! They've lost my packages countless times. They are useless. The security is a joke. The kids sneak into the rec center and steal the weights in the fitness room, the pools and Jacuzzi's are always down for some reason. This place sucks! I don't recommend this place one bit. I thought once the staff changed that things would pick up...only thing that picked up was the prices. I'm more mad at myself for staying here for so long just so my daughter could continue to go to her daycare up the street. I felt so relieved signing my vacate papers and writing how staff and maintenance were my main problems right in front of the leasing lady. I proudly handed that paper to her. Beware everyone, do not move here. There's a reason the complex has rat traps around, the staff will play dumb as if they never heard any problems of rats but trust me, walk around the backside of some of the apartments at the top of the hill and you'll see the traps, trust me.
