I have read some of the very negative review on this property, but cannot identify with them. While I agree that the definition of luxury must be stretched to include the Teresina Apartments, I have to consider my own occupation when rating them. I manage a luxury 36 story high-rise downtown San Diego and act as a consultant/resource on others in San Diego, L.A. and San Francisco, so coming from that background, I am not likely to think any apartment is a luxury accommodation. Parking is tight, but not as much as in other complexes I visited before settling on Teresina. While I have not personally confronted the towing situation, I did mention to management that my experience as an HOA manager left me with the opinion that the motley group known as Western Towing is a bunch of renegade cowboys. Unfortunately Western Towing markets themselves well, but if you ever watch the Turko Files on KUSI, they push to the limits of the law and are arrogantly aggressive. I suppose the answer is don't park on a fire lane even to get something out of your apartment. Speaking of management, I have nothing but the highest regard for them, their interaction with me has always been of the highest professional standard. Being an HOA manager, I am always looking at maintenance issues, and in two weeks of residency, I have sent in about 4 maintenance issues (Mainly lights). The response has always been fast and the issues dealt with promptly. As to the issue of children, I challenge the writers of these criticisms to visit any two and three bedroom complex and not find more children than the Pied Piper. If you cannot take children, my suggestion is that you leave town and live in a boarded up cave somewhere. This is a professionally run complex with a warm and professional staff that I would hire away at the first opportunity.
I've been living here for 3 months and I can't wait to move out. Loud, obnoxious neighbors, parties on the weekends, parking is awful, etc.
Check google, apartment ratings, to get better idea about these apartments. Thanks.
Management is HORRIBLE and often rude. It's a beautiful apartment complex but in no way luxury and they over bill you for unnecessary things once your lease is up like normal wear and tear in an apartment and a 100 cleaning fee not even including the 60 dollar carpet cleaning fee when your carpets are clean. This place is not worth it in my opinion.
