I'm going to be honest, not angry like a lot of people are when they write reviews. I do not hate living at this place but there is A LOT wrong with it. I like my apartment itself but the complex as a whole is infuriating. To begin with, the parking complaints are 100% true. Not only do tons of people who do not live there take up spaces they park so badly that half the time they take up at least two spaces and several people leave their cars parked for weeks. Every time the staff send letters to us saying they will fix it it never happens. Another big issue is the kids, almost every day it's not raining or freezing there are huge groups of kids playing in the halls and parking lot and they are extremely loud. When I first moved here my apartment unluckily faced the playground which, needless to say, was noisy 24/7. When we moved to another apartment on the other side of the complex there was no difference, to the kids here, the entire complex is a playground. They play in the street and are extremely rude or they ignore you if you're trying to drive through. They stomp and run up and down the halls screaming, really screaming. They also play with basketballs in the street and have hit several cars including mine. Nothing has ever been done to fix any of this. Another problem is the noise that doesn't come from kids. At least once a week, I am not exaggerating, someone is arrested outside or a very loud fire truck comes. This is also somewhat of an upside because at least the response time for crime is very good. Luckily the other people in my building are not noisy although the walls are thin enough that you can hear the shutting of a kitchen drawer. Recently two groups, yes groups, of people have moved into apartments across and beside my building and they are loud day and night, smoking and hacking and partying out on their balconies almost every night until at least 3am. Aside from the parking, kids and noise there is of course the staff. Unlike a lot of the reviewers on here the staff has rarely been rude to me but they have been incredibly ineffective and lazy. They never answer the phone and the times I've tried to call in a noise complaint after-hours, the 24 hour hotline it connects you to says the number was disconnected. They are extremely uneven with who they fine or apply the rules to, since our apartment is directly within office view we have gotten multiple letters about things several other apartments have had for years. When we got a satellite and the company placed it on the rail with a removable, non-damaging brace, we quickly got a note on our door requiring us to take it down. When we asked them why at least 7 other apartments, including one right next to ours who had the same thing were not asked to take them down they claimed they had no idea. It has been a year since then and the other 7 still stand. When we put two boxes on our porch for a night we got a letter about a fine for having trash out while other balconies have hoarder style piles of trash/items. The staff also periodically sends out letters of inspection in which they say "unless we hear from you we will assume we have full permission to enter". When I have tried to ask them not to barge into my apartment while I'm sleeping they claimed they did not know which apartments they were entering and they couldn't/wouldn't do anything. They will raise your rent every single time you sign your lease, period, no negotiating. They will raise it even higher if their apartments are full and they want to encourage people to leave, that is a fact. We have lived here for almost 4 years, thankfully we have never encountered any crime problems but we have seen the police outside enough to know there definitely is one. The only thing that makes me stay here is that fact and that the interiors are much nicer than a lot of other local apartments. The kitchens are big and open concept and the bathrooms are big and I like having a walk-in closet. I'm a very patient person and I've put up with a lot but I would warn anyone who isn't, you shouldn't live here.
My first impression of this apartment was great but once you start living there you start to see a lot of drug addicts and dealers. A lot of the children are left unattended, There's a lot of theft at the Food Market grocery store and police is here daily and at night. A lot of theft is going on in the apartments during the day time and the security they hired for night time does NOT help at all. The rent raised up out of nowhere, The maintenance are very rude and barely speak English. The Dog gate at the Season Lea Hill Village Apartments is invested with fleas and ticks and feces! The maintenance NEVER and I repeat NEVER clean out the dog gate...all they do is put more wood chucks over the feces because they are VERY lazy. They make you have a sticker on your car for parking but it does no good because people that do not live here still uses up ALL the parking spaces. The Apartments across from us has a lot of teens that comes to the Lea Hill Village and break into cars, steal stuff at the Food Market, start fights and a lot of Marijuana smokers here even though its illegal on these grounds to smoke because it states on the lease that it's illegal to smoke here, but people do it anyway because they feel like they can get away with everything. Some of the females in the office that works at the Seasons are VERY rude when you write complaints about what's going on here. Don't be fooled by the looks of these apartments like I was. That's why I'm moving out as soon as possible because this apartment is NOT worth it.
Management is hard to communicate with. Extremely loud neighborhood environment. Only one community dumpster that is located on the extreme west side of the property. The maintenance crew cleans once a week. The grass and roads are cleaned well but the stairwells and hallways leading to the apartment buildings were hardly cleaned. Poor to fair is the highest I would ever rate this place. I wish there was just a poor button that would be more accurate.
This place is frustrating. I've been apartment hunting for couple a weeks now and every day I see an ad on Craigslist for a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $1056 but when I called in the person acted like they didn't know what I was talking about but said they had a 2 bedroom 2 bath for $1101 and straight up lied and said that they probably already rented that place even thou they keep on re-listing it every day! It's false advertising!!
