When I first moved here in around 2012 it was okay, they actually enforced permit parking so parking wasn't bad and my neighbors and everything else was fairly tolerable. I recently moved out and for the past year the place was a living hell. For one you can hear everything from next door neighbors and upstairs neighbors. Both my next door and most especially my upstairs neighbors were loud assholes who didn't seem to care how loud they were being ALL THE TIME. And of course, the front office did nothing about it when I complained. The buildings themselves are old but in okay condition at best. There is never any parking. Always people outside being loud, or driving down the parking lot at 3 am blaring their music with super loud bass with no regards for anyone else. Oh and also cops there constantly due to the fact that basically everyone that lives there is ghetto trash. DO NOT MOVE here. The front office is unhelpful at best and the tenants are terrible, disrespectful, and always loud. It may be cheaper than most places but it is most definitely not worth it. You get what you pay for.
Not the best place to live. Kids running, screaming, braking things, unattended. People fighting or trying to kill themselves outside. office does nothing. rent for a 2b/2b comes out (+utilities) to be $1300+. Grounds are ok. People living here are stupid. Office is under staffed and tired. wifi sucks at times. LOOK ELSEWHERE.
I'll start with the positive aspects of this place only because I find one star reviews to be self serving. Pro - The property's outside appearance is well kept. - The tenants for the most party were very cool people, lots of families with great kids running around and playing. - It's right next door to a King Soopers so walking to get your groceries is pretty cool. Con - It's pricey for what you get and what you get is an old complex that looks new from the outside. - The kitchens in the 2 bedroom that I rented was very small with very little counter space. - When we signed the papers to hold the apartment (before we gave them a deposit) the rent was supposed to be $855 but when we came back to sign the lease we were told it was 945. - The water bill which is split up amongst the other tenants of the building ran us about $95-$110 bucks a month. We were told when we moved in that it would be about $45. - The AC units are old and will suck up electricity, be prepared for a high bill in the winter. - Good luck on getting your deposit back as normal wear and tear to thing like carpet are non existent in the manager's eyes.So are things like replacing the aluminum rings in the old stoves. I assume they don't do this out of malice (The management weren't evil) I think it's just how the property management wants things run. In closing this isn't a bad place to live, it's just not worth what they are asking for. I don't know the owners so I'm speaking out of ignorance here but they just seem like a bunch of greedy assholes who are squeezing as much dough out of the citizens of Denver without care of any quality of life. Meaning this place isn't for blue collar people unless you are a blue collar worker who enjoys working two jobs and not being around your kids. Either find someplace else or wait until their rent goes down to $800 or so. I would have stayed had they not raised my rent $100 bucks for my second year. My best advice is to stay away from Craigslist and the like because these property management companies dominate all the listings on there. Go out and explore the city and I bet you'll find something way cheaper than what you see on the internet!
DO NOT EVEN TRY TO LIVE HERE OR BE PART OF THIS COMPLEX!!! The management will take everything they got from you even if its money from your dinner table (if you know what that means). They dont give crap about anything. They will tow your car and not even try to help! Even if you ARE in the right. My car got towed parking in a handicap and I have a handicap sign but they STILL towed me, because they said " They couldnt see it"!?. They say they have a 3 day late grace period but UP TO THE 3RD DAY they're adding up charges. 3rd problem - There is NO PARKING. During my WHOLE 12 month lease, i had to park 3-4 complex's down from my own DURING WINTER WITH MY TWO KIDS being a single mother. Neighborhood is good, its clean and everything else you would want in an apartment is on point! BUT the management isn't even WORTH dealing with!!!! Please trust in me! and everyone else that will tell you not to even look at the place. They SUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKK! They need to be SHUT DOWN AND SUED FOR EVERY PENNY THEY TOOK FROM HARD EARNING FAMILIES. "BRIDGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ARE RESPONSIBLE OWNERS FOR LETTING ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS HAPPEN AND NOT DOING ANYTHING TO FIX IT!!!!)
If you are looking for a nice place TO LIVE! I suggest you look ELSE WHERE! The heater SUCKS BAD! It blows out COLD AIR! It only works when it wants to. So please, if you got kids a family, I say keep on Driving. My floor upstairs squeaks every inch of the flooring, The HOT water has a mind of it's own. My stairs squeak along with five stairs going up are broken when you step on them to go up or down you feel like you are going right through the stair, When you become a tenant here and of course most of the stuff in your apartment don't work. When I moved in, I requested that they fix my door, my heater, my toilet runs all the time and it's loud, My front door has cracks and it 's so cold you can see light which blows nothing but cold air, so there for I know my bill for running the heater that don't and works only when it wants to. Is going to be so high! I HATE THIS PLACE SO BAD. I've requested to have my Heater, my Door, My toilet, and my stairs to be fixed, A MONTH AGO, FROM TODAY 11/18/2014, and I called them again today. This is what they said. (Well we make the heater a priority). Yeah Right!.... Unfortunately I needed something at the time, ASAP! And if I would have seen these comments first , then I defiantly would have not thought of this place. But Trust me if I had the Cancelation fee to move out NOW! I would in a heart beat, and move into something better. But Unfortunately I'm a single mom with children and I cannot got until my lease is up, that is in 9-more months headache months of this crap I have to dill with. SO GOOD LUCK! JUST BEWARE, DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!!!! it's a roof over my head with no heat!
