The building itself is getting a little run down. Dishwasher (definitely NOT stainless steel) barely works, the washing machines never work. There is a ton of noise and bad smells every where. And lastly, the least pleasant person I've ever encountered is employed here. I'd call her a C-word, but that would imply both depth and warmth...
I'm am visiting here to see if we should move and it seems shady and hiden behind woods and roads hmmmmm suspicious
I lived at this complex for 1.5 years. Within two days the tenant next to me was knocking on my door at 6 am to ask for money (3 dollars to buy beer) and trying to sell me drugs. I got to know a few other tenants that I had no issue with and could relax by the pool with. Maintenance was fine for me because I had an updated unit. I did not like the prices at all. I moved when they tried to raise my rent to nearly $950 for 1 bedroom at 690 sq. ft. Overpriced about 200 in my opinion. The management refused to negotiate or to give a number to the leasing manager whenever I asked. Overall I would say that for 200 less/month it would have been a fair deal. What I did like was the pool and community room next to it. There wasn't much exercise equipment but I did enjoy the pool table and relaxing and swimming at the pool.
Section 8, not so great - Creekwood Estates Hopkins MN Highland Management Always noisy, always full of thugs. My college dorm was more peaceful!!!!! Last week there was a drug bust by the 6000 building. Some kids were getting high and having sex in our "reserved and restricted parking" lot. Our heat constantly goes out (even after they fix it) and the walls are cracking. My advice to the management is to ACTUALLY DO A BACKGROUND CHECK. The only reason I feel safe in this apartment is because I own guns and know martial arts. We are getting the heck out of here as soon as we can. We even thought about breaking our lease to get out of this hell hole!!!!!
