My house is infested with bugs and I have to kill them every single day and the walls are so thin I can hear everything from my neighbors but besides that the apartment is decent and has a good viewing area.
I've lived here for 3months now,and so far it's been good. When ever I have an Issue they always have my problems fixed by the end of the day or as soon as I hang up. I like it for the most part,I plan on signing another lease when mine is up. It doesn't hurt that rent is in my price range either:) :)
I lived here for two years, mainly because it was cheap - I got what I paid for. Then my rent went up for the same awful service and amenities, and I just couldn't take it anymore. First of all, my apartment was mold infested. The mold just got worse and worse over the two years that I was there. Nothing was ever done. Maintenance would come and look then paint over it. Before I left, it was so bad that chunks of the wall were falling off in my bathroom. My neighbors had the same problem. Maintenance was awful in general. My refrigerator stopped working and it took three days for them to come out and look at it. They merely turned it off and back on, and then it stopped working again the following week. I stopped buying food that needed to be refrigerated. My drains all clogged on a regular basis and I could even hear leaking pipes in the walls. Of course, it would take several days for anyone to come look at my drains. Bugs were also a problem - there were huge cockroaches (up to two inches long). Luckily, I had a cat who kept them under control though. On top of this, the complex was always noisy and police were in the parking lot with their lights flashing every weekend. As a girl living alone, I was sexually harassed almost every time I went to check my mail. Speaking of the mail, the office somehow lost my packages a lot. Someone would sign for them, and a notice would be left on my door, but when I would go to office, my packages were not there. Did they compensate me? No. When I finally left I thought I would be breaking my lease. When I went to the office to discuss payment for this, I was told that I was, in fact, not actually breaking my lease. I was surprised and excited (I didn't think the place was so bad...perhaps they would fix it up!). I handed over my keys, and gave them a forwarding address to send my deposit to, which I was told I was certainly getting back in a month. A month later I instead received a letter from a debt collector for breaking my lease. This place is a joke. There is nothing good about it.
Hate it do not go there to live. Unless you have need some where cheap to live.
