This has been the worst renting experience I have ever had and I have lived in many apartments over the last 15 years in many different cities. We moved in to the apartment and within a day noticed about 15 issues (i.e. dirty toilets, no screens, dirty screen, blinds overlap, dirty bathtub, bathtub doesn't plug, stained floors, uneven/not level flooring, etc). The maintenance staff proceeded to come in and fix each item which I appreciated, but you shouldn't have to have so many items fixed in an apartment that should be move in ready. Now, for about three weeks, our water has been dirty/rusty/brown. We have asked to get out of our lease since we cannot wash our dishes, clean our clothes, bath/shower in the water they are providing and we have been told they will not allow this. Management has still not even offered to not charge us for water this month! We are literally paying for dirty water that most likely has chemicals and rust in it, and we are not even being given the option to leave to find a different home. The management staff have no concerns that a baby is living in an environment without clean water. It is truly disrespectful, sad behavior. They do not or will not have any concern about your health or safety. Do not move in here. Find a place that cares about providing you with basic necessities, like clean water.
This place is so so so disgusting. The water is brown in my apartment, my rent for "water & heat fees" goes up about 15 bucks every month, which I was told would not change. The snow plow doesn't come through till about 5 hours too late. PLEASE do not be scammed by this people. Move some where else!! Oh and let me not forget when my heat was broken and the maintance people said "Do you really need it fixed right now, it's 4 we are about to go home"...? Uh yea I had a 20 month old at the time. Oh and there are bugs in my apartment every orther day no matter how much vaccuuming and lysol I do. I hate it here. I cannot wait until our lease is up so we can move out of this HELL ON EARTH!!
