Great apartments, though most need renovation. The staff (especially Laura, Tina, Chauncey, and Kebat) are very hepful. I've been living here for about six months, but I know someone who has lived here for 5 years, as well as someone who has lived here for 18 years. The rent is competitively priced for the area. The maintenance team is very responsive. I've made this apartment complex a home for myself and my 3 month old daughter. It's safe and comfortable.
NOT HEALTHY! STAY AWAY!!! We have lived here for two years. The first year was ok, the second was awful. This place is DISGUSTING! There is mold growing through the floor, and on the walls, there are roaches EVERYWHERE, and dog poop every two inches in the back of the apartments. I think some of this stuff HAS to be a health risk! The lighting outside goes out constantly so its dangerous after hours, and my car was broken into. When I called to tell them that my car was broken into, her response was "Oh that happens a lot" Why not send out a notification?! The manager is SO rude. They charge you for things that shouldnt be an issue. I called about an $800 carpet replacement charge when we moved out of the first apartment and the lady LAUGHED. She said that JUST because we have a dog, we had to replace the carpet. The carpet was in great condition because we were very careful and cleaned it up immediately. They charge a $400 pet "deposit" and then pile more charges on! They love to drain money from you. We're having to pay rent for an additional month after we move out because we didnt notify them EXACTLY 60 days before we are due to move out. If you want somewhere quiet, stay away! You can hear EVERYTHING here. I even heard coughing from the next door neighbor! My upstairs neighbors drove me crazy. The guy was a drummer! When I called to complain, she said she'd do something, but never did. I ended up calling the police and their reply was "Oh that place... we're out there all the time because of stuff" I kinda figured since the neighbor across the hall was arrested about a week earlier! We are moving because I am afraid to keep my 6 month old baby here, for so many reasons. I do not feel safe here, and I'm afraid of what the mold could do to my familys health. The front desk lady is ok, and so is the maintenance guy ... but everybody else... AWFUL! ... I dread having to talk to the manager. She turns her nose up to people and she should be fired! I wouldnt be surprised if this place closes soon... and it probably should... Stoney Ridge = FAIL! do not move here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The staff at Stoney Ridge is terrible, the worst I have ever seen. First, the rent is really expensive and goes up with every year someone stays. The maintenance crew should be FIRED! I lived at Stoney Ridge for 2 years and in that whole time period, I had many problems with the apartment. Maintenance workers came and did not fix a thing. Seriously! To fix the dryer, a maintenance worker put a plastic tube (you can probably find off of a milk cap) on the dryer door which fell out the second I used it. As far as the office staff, I do not know why they are even there. I had a question regarding the lease and the young lady at the front desk was talking on the phone to a friend about her car problems. She did not once acknowledge I was there. I looked through the paperwork sitting around the office and found what I was looking for. On my way out the door after being ignored for nearly 20 minutes, the receptionist asked the person on the phone to hold on, then proceeded to ask me if I needed something. I would not recommend this place to anyone! There shouldn't even be a star for this apartment complex. I would rate it a -10!
