Lived there for 4 years and can say that this is the worse property, as well as terrible management. Had to stay in a hotel several times due to faulty air conditioner and heating unit. Constant dog mess on the grounds due to poor maintenance. Dishwasher never worked, which I was promised a new one that I never received. The rental office makes several promises/commitments, which never come through. Numerous repair requests were not responded to by office. With an excellent payment history and timely payments, it took 4 months to get a partial refund of my deposit. Renters beware!
Doesnt do their jobs. Take them forever I have to call them everyday. gate is not working. Bad place cops come almost every week and there big cockroach n baby spider.. scared me couple time.
I believe that this was a gem in Fresno. The name of the complex has also been changed to Sandpiper Point as of June 2014. I lived inside of a studio apartment by myself and found it to be affordable and accessible to anywhere I wanted to go. There was a monthly flat rate for water, and garbage and sewage was taken care of by the complex. I received one assigned carport and there was plenty of uncovered guest parking. The community is gated and open during the day, but closes from the outside once the front office is closed. I felt very safe about my car and belongings. It was close to the airport, but once inside the apartment, I hardly heard a thing. However, there were some issues with my 5-month stay in Fresno. I had a minor cockroach/waterbug problem. After a couple weeks of discovering them at night (some on me while I slept), I realized that there was a small gap at the bottom of my door. I asked the office if they could fix it, but they only offered to have pest control spray the outside of my door. I ended up using adhesive foam to close the gap and didn't have a pest problem for the rest of my stay. I also had a problem with the fridge. It stopped working (I could tell because my ice cream was always goopy). They switched it with a different fridge, but that second fridge didn't work either (checked after 2 days). They ended up fixing the coils of the original fridge and brought it back in working order. The maintenance supervisor personally addressed the problem with both me and my girlfriend who was staying with me for a week. The issue ended up being with all of the frozen food that had gone to spoilage, due to the broken refrigerator. It ended up costing me $45 in spoiled food, due to the faulty fridge provided to me. I presented them with a list of what was spoiled, but they never got around to putting a credit back to my rent or my security deposit. I'd ask the office every other week and they kept saying they have to check with their manager. The complex kept part of my security deposit, but it was reasonable and mentioned on the move-out checklist. They took out some money for a steam carpet cleaning and took the costs out for repainting the apartment. I ended up getting back most of my deposit, which was only about $300 in the first place. Otherwise, the office was prompt with maintenance issues and even helped me lock my door once after having to leave my apartment in a rush. The grounds were kept neat and the public facilities (laundry room, pool) were kept orderly and clean. I felt safe in this neighborhood and would recommend it to any friend or family member if there's availability.
good price for 2 bedrooms. but constant pipe issues with water always being turned off. past residents who used to live in these apts since 1999-2000 that find out i live here the first question they ask is about the water and pipe issues, 15 years and still with the same water issue. mailboxes constantly being broken into multiple boxes always opened . new neighbors letting their dogs poop everywhere. lots of stray cats all over the property. also lots and lots of solicitors always knocking on your doors trying to sell stuffs. ghetto people always waiting for those with gate cards to open gates for them to enter. changing the property name to sandpiper point still has all these same issues
Its single level and kept clean for the most part. But they up your rent if you try to do another 6 month lease and the cockroaches never get taken care of
