We have enjoyed the convenience and service of the management team at the Eaves in Quincy (150). There have been several issues involving plumbing and maintenance that have occurred - Sean has promptly and professionally dealt with each as they occurred. He is an asset to the team and a jewel for the residents. I cannot describe his value enough - although exceptional is a good word.
As a resident at Eaves Quincy North (290 Quarry Street) for the last three years, I feel the maintenance department provides the residents a high-level of professionalism-unseen in most community residencies; their expedience in triaging and resolving maintenance requests at any hour-even holidays and let me not for get to mention- courtesies. The staff renders everyone a pleasant salutation as they conduct their daily tasks. Finally, I need to mention with a small antidotal what makes the Avalon staff unique. Take Joe, for example, he might be busy mopping the floors, but never forgets to wish you a “good morning” remarks as you exit the elevator in the morning. Also, Joe seems to be the one who rushes to open the main door, when you are hampered with groceries. Steve is another example of the “motivated” employee Eaves has on their staff. Steve came to my unit on two separate occasions to explain, adjust and test the heating system during the winter storm of 2015. His assistance kept my cat and I warm during the worst of days. I should also mention Brisner, the quiet worker who on several occasions has been spotted helping residents change their flat tires or boosted their car battery on those cold winter days. Finally, I am compelled to mention Armando and Sean who have taken the task of shoveling the disability parking areas and cleaning the vehicles of disabled residents. As a disabled resident, I am touched by their gesture. Finally. I would like to acknowledge Sean, who symbolizes the true meaning of “Spirit de Corps “by his countless endeavors to make each and every resident feel special. I for one, a disabled veteran cannot express in words the gratitude I have for Sean. For example, he has assisted me by carrying my bundles when the weather affects the metal pin in my knee, at the same time, helping me maintain my dignity and independence. Finally, Sean always finds the extra time in his hectic day to listen to my old war stories or tell a joke when I was blue. Overall, I am fortunate to live at Eaves North, not because the rent is cheap, the property possess a swilling pool or indoor gym, but the simple fact that Avalon has a cadre of maintenance workers, who are devoted professionals , who make the safety and comfort of their residents their number one priority.
The staff here (both office and maintenance) are fantastic. Polite, friendly, attentive, always there to help. We're coming up on our first year here with the building and we couldn't be happier. Location is great both for getting around Quincy and getting in to Boston. Can't wait to renew for another year!!
One of the best apartments to stay in Quincy.
