I enjoy living here, it's a very nice community and very family friendly. I just honestly don't think it's worth nearly 1,000 dollars a month. I've been living here since November and we've had so many things wrong with our apartment. Our hot water stopped working one day, our toilet broke, our second bathroom toilet has always ran continuously since we've moved in. Maintenance "fixed" the issue twice but he never really fixed it. Our washing machine never worked properly & caused a leak and water damage. We constantly have ants in our bedroom and we never have food in our bedroom and we keep it clean. It's just not worth the amount being paid. I'd say 750-850 dollars a month is a reasonable amount for this property. The walls are also VERY thin. No privacy whatsoever & you can hear everything from outside.
My boyfriend, my 1yr old son and I have only been here all of 2 months and its been pure hell every since. Of course the model we were shown was flawless but i can say my apt falls short of such. They dont inform you of all the hidden fees and the management is horrible. The maintenance is lousy and there is no sense of urgency to fix anything. The light fixture in my kitchen collapsed in the middle of the night which scared the hell out of me, and my son could have gotten seriously hurt, not to mention a week went by before it was fixed. This has got to be the worst place I have ever lived. Not to mention neighbors complaining about roaches!!! I wouldnt recommend this place to a dog. Dont waste your money on this property, you will regret it. It certainly isnt worth the amount of rent we pay. Its so bad, breaking my lease almost seems worth it!!!
Where to start. I just moved in this weekend and already feel like they might not be the place that they want you to believe they are. We toured a model unit (my brother and I), and obviously it was going to be the nicest looking model on the lot. They said our apartment would look similar and it does, with a couple of exceptions. First of all they sold us a unit that has MAJOR water damage in the closet with the hot water heater, why they didn't put it in the outside closet at least is any body's guess. They would not allow us to tour the unit without signing the lease first. Secondly they told us that our unit had redone cabinets and floors which was also not true. I can tell because of the paint that dripped onto the floor they didn't bother to clean up. Dirt and debris was waiting for us in the dishwasher when we moved in, as well as the maintenance people's footprint stains in the bathtub. Third, instead of hiring qualified professionals to repaint over the previous tenants damages, it appears they hired an amateur or something because they painted on top of all the hinges in the kitchen, making them hard to function. Speaking of, they also didn't wait for the paint to dry because some of the cabinets were stuck shut and opening them peeled some of the paint off. The molding that goes along the floor has separated from the wall in many places and there are visible cracks in the ceiling finish. Furthermore some of the rails in our drawers in the kitchen are missing, making the drawer not function properly. The fixture that holds the dining room light in the ceiling is damaged and there was dust and spiderwebs in more than a couple places. In conclusion, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of an apartment that was decently expensive, and when I turned in the damage form to the front office there was no "We'll get it fixed for you." Just be wary about this place. They sell you on a model and assure you that you may have "minor" cosmetic damage from previous owners but our apartment was extremely lazily prepared for future tenants. Update edit: They keep sending you survey emails and when you give them poor marks for legitimate reasons they will call you. The lady I talked to was rude because I said her associate in her office was rude to me. Just don't live here at all.
