Units are expensive, but not excessively so for the area. It's right in the core of Portland, so you don't need to own a car to get around to everything. Maintenance is fantastic and the apartments are well made with nice amenities: AC, full-size W/D in the unit, ceiling fans, stone counters, VLT flooring, prewired for Comcast, in-sink disposal, on-site gym, secure parking, and the office will receive packages for you. Office staff is totally awesome folks. The 8 stops right out front, with the 17 and 77 outbound at the corner, 17 and 77 inbound a block a way. If you can swing the cost, it's a very nice place to live.

UPDATE: After I wrote this review we received a notice from management that our rent is going up ALMOST $500 PER MONTH (on a $1500 apartment) after living here for less than 2 months. If we had any idea they were going to jack up the rent like that we NEVER would have moved in. BEWARE. Overall it's a nice place to live. Very convenient location, super friendly staff and well maintained. The rent is definitely on the high side as other reviewers have noted. Our unit was updated and is very comfortable and spacious. We share almost no common walls with neighboring units, which is nice too. Only real drawback since we've lived there (almost 2 months) is the really loud kids in the courtyard between the buildings. There's a big pack of them that play, run and scream (with no adult supervision) every night for 1-3 hours unless it's raining. During that time it's impossible to hang out on our balcony or even keep our windows open some nights because of the screaming and shrieking. We are on the 4th floor, so it must be even worse on the lower floors. According to a neighbor who has lived there a long time, the kids come every year with foreign families that stay in the complex while on student visas. Apparently management either can't or won't do anything about the noise issue (there's a public park about 2 blocks away, so it's not like there is no place for kids to go play). Since this is really annoying to come home to every night after work I think potential renters should be aware of it. Other than 'screaming kid hour' nearly every night, it's a great place to live.

The other review is nuts-on. Great apt, nice residents, only problem is that the rent is pretty steep especially with parking...

Loving everything... except price. I moved in here on short notice and couldn't be happier about it - unless the rent was cheaper. The staff is super friendly, responsive, accommodating, and they seem genuinely EXCITED to be there and to help you with anything. They have been actively improving upon the property inside and out, and the security can't be beat. The units are older but in great shape and one by one they're being remodeled. Mine hadn't been updated yet, but the place was spotless and pristine when I moved in and the floor plan is so perfect. I love my balcony, my view, my apartment, my building, the staff, and the location. I love coming home to Axcess 15, but could I please get a break on the rent?
