The Flamingo is a good place to live. The view of Miami Beach is spectacular from my 15th floor apartment in the Center Tower. Indeed, being one of the tallest buildings on the Beach, this is surely one of the best views you can get. The location is convenient, nearby bars and restaurants are plentiful. The apartment is great. My living room is spacious with modern appliances (no garbage disposal, however,) including washer/dryer. We have two bedrooms and two large bathrooms. The balcony is ridiculously large. There are two pools and places to buy groceries, get a massage, and get manicures. Taxis are always waiting outside. Maintenance fixes problems quickly. There are rumors of loud parties happening all the time at the Flamingo but that has not been my experience. My neighbors do not make too much noise. There is a nice, large gym with free classes. However the gym is not free -$50 or $60 month, not bad, but not free. There are some negatives. The road near the entrance of the Flamingo gets clogged with traffic, which is not a big deal, but people blare on their horns often, and the sound travels up easily to my apartment. There is no garbage disposal, which I expect in a modern apartment. The rent is not cheap, and you can probably find cheaper apartments in Miami Beach, but if you are looking for a nice, modern apartment you probably would pay about the same anyways. All in all I would recommend the Flamingo for a pleasant, comfortable living experience in Miami Beach.

DO NOT LIVE HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. If I can give a 0 Star, I would! This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE in South Beach. People get SHOT in here, Security is not proactive, HIDDEN FEES, and Resident Complaint Response is the WORST. I woke up at 9am on a drilling from upstairs of our apartment BY THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT, and it took me literally an HOUR JUST TO GET A HOLD OF SOMEBODY to take care of it. I called since 10am and their operations start at 10am, I GUESS EVERYONE IS LATE TO ANSWER THEIR PHONE? Guess what they said? They can do anything they want between 9AM - 5PM, with this black guy, about 5'8" in height, medium built, from the maintenance department laughing at my face saying they can do whatever they want between then. I asked for his name so he can hopefully get reported for his unprofessionalism, but he wouldn't give me his information and walked away with a smirk. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL, AND THIS GUY IS ON THE JOB. I hope someone reads this and heads to their department and tone down my description to that person and do something about that employee. DO NOT LIVE HERE. IT IS ALL SUGAR-COATED ON PICS BUT TRUST ALL OF THE REVIEWS ON HERE, WE ARE REAL RESIDENTS WITH REAL EXPERIENCES.

Listen!... run away!... don't be dumb like me and rent here. IT IS BAD!!! REALLY BAD!!!!... seems ok, the pool, the gardens, the so-so poo smell... NOOO!.. IS BAD!!... The walls are paper-thin and loud during the night..... my upstairs residents are east europe prostitutes, I clearly hear everyone of their clients and their excessive sex screaming; the other they share a 1-bedroom between 3-4 noisy people, the other leases to weekend party rentals and my next door are obnoxious screaming always high drug dealers.. the other day someone got shot and killed right down stairs... from the outside looks nice.. inside, a big big big big lie and mess. They have a comprehensive contract to take two months and your deposit to leave and believe me you will want to after a week in this crappy place.... DON'T, for your own sake, DON'T LEASE HERE... the administration dont care except picking your hefty check overpriced for an old old unit. Security is just cosmetic. If you are are not a drug dealer/prostitute/psychopath, please, listen to me, dont rent here. See all the other TRUE reviews in google and yelp and read... their reviews on their site and apartments guide is all fabricated... the reply from them, Bryan, and so on, is just an auto reply, they dont give a cr@p, nor anyone in that office, they keep a guard there for a reason. Their strategy is to lure young people to a so call luxury rental, and they sky rocket the renew rate to either get more money on the new rate or keeping your deposit when you leave, as they will attempt any means to keep it. I can assure you that if they offered a 2-weeks trial period for new residents or a no-penalty contract-cancellation, most people would leave. I know if I could afford it, I would leave immediately. I am counting the days for my contract to be over and leave this hell.

We are a young professional couple that moved in recently at the Flamingo Center Tower. The location of this apartment building is ideally located, near Lincoln Rd, entertainment, shopping, dining options as well as the accessibility to the highways. We love how quiet the center tower is. Our favorite part of the place has to be the price in terms of what you are receiving. Anything else in the neighborhood is old, not clean like the Center tower and prices are not competitive like Flamingo's. We love living here.

I can confirm that the state of this place is just as bad as the other reviews describe. This is not a place for a serious professional adult. If you are in that category, do not move here. You will find nobody worth socializing with in this scumbag infected concrete fortress. Security is non existing, and the type of people that live here is the absolute worst (drug dealers, hustlers, strippers, promoters ...). Yesterday a guy was shot and killed on the 3rd floor sky-walk - not ghetto enough for you? The management is pathetic - absolutely useless and unprofessional. Do not expect them to ever keep a word. There is a big problem here with vacation rentals and people partying 24/7, and acting completely retarded and with no respect as it is not their home. Just the fact that you can rent a room directly on google when searching for the name tells all about this place as subleasing is not allowed. There also seems to be a problem with bugs here, and you shouldn't be surprised to find cockroaches crawling around. They are famous for always increasing the rent by $200 a month for every new contract, and they will keep doing it until you quit and then they will take your deposit. I see there is a guy that keeps replying to make it seem like they are actively trying to improve, but they are not. It is the same problems year after year and it has only been getting worse, hence why you see the same things mentioned time and time again. It is just a cheap attempt of damage control. He usually mentions Bryan their regional manager, which doesn't reply. Do not be deceived by the location and the pools which is the only thing this place has got to offer. Remember you will quickly become used to it and you will find yourself never using it. The only people that move here is people from outside Miami that do not know about the reputation of this place. The few good people that are unfortunate to end up in Flamingo quickly move out again. If you are looking for a new place, look at the neighbor buildings or in Brickell where you will find better and cheaper apartments with normal and sane tenants. Do not get fooled by the fake rating shown on Flamingos own page.
