I moved to a three story apartment in April and love my new home! I feel the office staff works hard to insure that everyone is satisfied with there home. I live right next to the pool and have never ever heard partying. Very quiet complex only thing I hear is the road but i chose to live closest to it so it is not even a complaint. If I were to have one thing negative to say it would be that my kitchen sink is very small. But if that is the only thing I can think of then man life is good! Great prices for a large 2x2 with washer and dryer. I also like that the rooms are not close to the living room. So while my kids are a sleep I can still have friends over and watch a movie with plenty of privacy.
Edit: I have changed my review. Overall I used to enjoy living here. Lately, the minor issues have become glaringly obnoxious problems. I more often am forced to park on the opposite end of the complex due to my spot routinely being occupied. I work evenings and by the time I get home, my spot is usually already occupied. I have left polite notes on the cars, which does nothing to solve the issue considering it is a different vehicle each time. It always happens after hours so my apartment staff can't do anything about it until the following day, by which point the car is gone. I work very hard, practically every day, and the last thing I need after a stressful day is the frustration of dealing with parking issues. They need to implement an after hours towing line that responds quickly. Maybe people would be more respectful if their was actually consequences. This issue is so rampant and disrespectful that it has destroyed any positive feelings I had about this apartment. If you never want to be able to park in your assigned spot, and instead have to traverse from the edges of the complex for the hopes of a parking spot, then by all means rent here.
When I first moved in to Adagio a few years ago it was relatively quite. The only real complaint I had was that the students from the near by motorcycle school were always revving their engines. But this was almost always during the day. It really wasn't that bad. Times have changed. Now there are people constantly slamming doors, stomping up and down the stairs, dogs barking, children crying, and people partying. And this goes on all day and night. But mostly at night and every day. In general the staff is pretty indifferent. I can say that they do respond fairly quickly to maintenance issues. Occasionally you do have to remind them of your issue.
When I moved in here 11 months ago the only complaint I had was living next to the pool (bad idea). I called the police several times but nothing was ever done. Come to find out they never reported it to corporate. I moved to a bigger apartment at the back of the complex to get away from the noise and have more space. At this time when my husband and I moved we were on manager number 2. We now have a new manager and we are miserable! The ppl above us have a young boy that stomps all over the floor, screams, he is just completely ridiculous. We have reported it to the office but not much has changed. I have put in 3 work orders for the ceiling fan in our living room, but they refuse to replace it. They say it works fine. It randomly quits spinning and now makes a horrible clacking noise. Put in 2 work orders for my dryer. They say the heating element is bad and will replace in 2 to 4 days. Unclear as to what they are replacing. My whole apartment smells like they set something on fire. My smoke alarm in off the wall and on a shelf. When I try to plug it in it starts squealing. Not sure what is going on there. They left 3 lights on. Guess they think I'm rich and can afford a big electric bill. The girls in the office are rude and inept. They tried to charge me the wrong rent, and the water bill from December from the apt I'm in now. I didn't live here in December. When they told me that I could pay it when I got my deposit refund from the previous unit.(I didn't know what they were charging me for, they said it was for move in costs) Three days later I'm getting a notice on my door to pay or vacate. I feel like I'm being punished for changing units. I do not recommend anyone living here and as soon as my lease is up I will be leaving!
