The apartments are on the older side and they are ridiculously over charging on the rent. It is becoming increasingly unsafe to live here. Between the gunshots at night and the sketchy characters I see hanging around my building I had to add extra locks on my door just to get some peace of mind. Management is extremely unprofessional and it seems rent has become their one and only priority. The laundry facilities are sub par at best. I wouldn't recommend that anyone make this their home. They will wrap it up in a nice bow to get you in as quick as possible maybe even skip the background check because all they care about is money. You can go and get a lot better for what they charge in rent here. The water and electricity bills are enough to run anyone off. Their sewer system is a nightmare and they make you pay for it. My water bill went from under $20 a month to now $40 every month.
HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! Chella and Kayla are the most rudest people I have ever met in this whole entire world! I had to lie about who I was just to get corporate's number from them because they didn't want to give it to me! They have two pools but they're more like a Jacuzzi because they're so small. Out of the whole 10 months I lived there the gym was NEVER open! When asked about it they always made up some excuse about repairs and kept saying it would be open next week. Rent is outrageously high for the apartment. You can go somewhere else and get a better apartment for your money. Chella, which is the apartment manager, and Kayla who is the leasing agent have ABSOLUTELY NO compassion! My friend lived there for a year was never late paying rent but the first time she ran into a little financial difficulty they evicted her! To make matters worse they told her that if she wasn't out by CHRISTMAS EVE they'd have a sheriff come to the apartment and arrest her! Christmas Eve....really? I will say that I never had any problems with my apartment or car getting broke into and maintenance were very prompt with any issues I had. So if you can look over the small pools and gym not working and horrible in compassionate staff this is the place for you. I will say that what the person above said is true about the water. It's outrageously high!
First of all the management is terrible. The manager only cares about getting her bonus and finding the cheapest people to come out and maintain this property. A few weeks ago they hired some guys out to clean the windows and sidewalks only to make things worse. There have been 4 fires in the past two weeks due to their poor keep on maintenance and hazardous living. There have been multiple flooding in the past 2 weeks as well. Water heaters are busting in apartments causing water to flood through bottom floor apartments because they do not know how to keep things up to date here. Instead of replacing the flooded smelly carpet they have maintenance just come in and blow a fan under the carpet to dry leaving it smelly and no telling what kind of germs from all that water. This place is run down, and getting worse by the day. The washer's and dryers are disgusting and the management never keeps it clean. There was an awesome manager there before but since this new one has come in the past 8 months she has totally destroyed these apartments. There water service is awful and since they have so much sewage issues they make YOU pay for their mistakes. Electricity is outrageous due to very poor insulation. In the winter you can actually feel the air coming in through your windows and front door. If they would work on keeping these up to date it would be a nice and convenient place to live but I would not wish on my worst enemy to live there as of now.
There are plenty of other apartments that you would get a lot more for your money. If features are important to you (pool, gym, laundry) then this probably isn't the best place. Laundry machines are not that great (half of them are broken), the gym is a joke and the pools are enough to put your feet in and they aren't very clean. That being said, the things I have needed fixed were fixed promptly and although I have seen a broken into car, I haven't had any safety issues, but also I wouldn't go and do my laundry in the middle of the night either. I will definitely be moving when my lease is up! Not so much because I hate it but because there is absolutely nothing to love about this place really, especially for the money you are paying. Oh and if you order a lot of packages and you aren't home, nothing will get left for you if it is from the post office so.... that's pretty annoying! I have lived at complexes where packages got left at the front office which is much more convenient.
They set me up real quick - no background check or anything, minimal deposit, seemed sweet. Had the townhouse... Bathroom downstairs had been repaired by maintenance twice, and for over a year never worked properly. Carpet was not put together properly. Had chunks coming apart. Way too many layers of paint. The bathtub was coming apart five months in. White paint coming off, revealing the dark dirty layer underneath. Air conditioner would leak water when used on hot days. Took almost two months to get maintenance to remove birds that would chirp and wake up me up at 5AM near the dryer ventilation. Oh, and the kicker. When they called me two months before my lease ended, I told them I didn't want to. When it came to the month before I confirmed they said that I never called and told them. So I got conned into staying another month and PAYING OVER $100 IN RENT. Had no sympathy, and quite frankly most of the ladies there are extremely rude. Not to mention the car robberies, sound of gun shots every other week, and the neighbors door being kicked in and finding blood all over the sidewalk near by apartment.
