Awful place they tow your car without warning although my car was registered with them . The office staff are condescending and when you voice your concerns they look at you as though you have no idea what you are talking about. We have no security as much as we pay in rent, no gym no clubhouse nothing. A couple of residents and I have gotten our rims stolen . Cars broken into and homes broken into . Its not safe don't move here.
It is a good apartment for the money. Right across the street from CSUSB (walk to class) and great neighbors. We pay 1200 for a 1000sq ft 2 bed 2 bath with hard wood floors and all the appliances a girl could wish for. Parking is first come first serve but the assigned parking is respected most of the time. We saw a cockroach the first week we moved in but after a treatment from maintenance we haven't seen them since (we are clean people)... All in all, its the best place for the money. I currently live here and will renew the lease (if they lower the rent), but we'll see. Don't let these negative comments discourage you, come see the upgraded apartments. You will like them.
PLEASE READ THIS WHOLE REVIEW IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING MOVING INTO THIS PLACE!!! This is seriously the WORST place you can move into. I haven't even lived here for a week and i am already regretting my decision of moving in here. If i had the money i would break the lease. The first night that we spent in our apartment, a psycho guy came barging into our home by mistake, not even 5 min later a violent domestic incident accrued across the hall from us, involving the cops, paramedics, firefighters, and even CSI. My roommates and I were scared for our safety. There is still blood on our porch and when I went to let the office know they looked at me like if i was stupid! The office manager did not even acknowledge my safety concerns. The whole office is very RUDE!. I have been waiting for my gate pass for a week and lied saying it would be ready by the end of the day, after a long day of work i would be outside the gate waiting for someone to open the door. My sister came for visit and had her car almost get towed away!!! Their parking policy is RIDICULOUS! Out of all the apartments on Kendall Dr, We picked the worst one!!! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!
This place sucks they made me buy renters insurance before i got the place i was approved they gave me an apartment number and everything i went to see the apartment it was already to go then they call me oh that apartment is already taken they wanted me to get a higher priced one with less upgrade all they did was steel my 88 dlrs for the paparwork then i read all the bad reviews this place has made me hate it even more gettho ass apartments never again
I've lived here for almost a year now. I've had my car towed from my own parking space as a result of their negligence (didn't give me a parking pass or inform me of the ridiculous parking policy upon moving in, which I later found out also happened to a classmate that moved in months prior to myself), countless failed promises, and absolutely no help removing an unlawful occupant (the required lease for all occupants is a jointly and severally binding agreement, while only the jointly portion is enforced, making any roommate issues you may face a terribly extended legal fiasco for which you are entirely responsible, unless of course you want to destroy your own credit). Whenever I've needed maintenance, including my initial requests upon moving in, the front office fails to deliver the message and one must contact the maintenance workers directly. The front office, including Yolanda and the Manager will essentially tell you anything you want to hear to get you out of the office and the only thing they seem to be able to do efficiently is take my money. I strongly suggest you check out the Castle park apartment complex for similar pricing and supposedly better quality of life? The in-apartment washer and dryer is terrible, have to dry clothes through two or three cycles before they are actually dry. The dishwasher is equally bad, although I generally wash by hand anyway. Also, I have a fish tank so I'm constantly checking water quality and they have trace amounts of ammonia and the hardest (calcium and magnesium) water I've ever seen, even compared to neighboring facilities. I'm not some crazy person upset on the internet, this is a legitimate warning to avoid this apartment complex if you can at all help it. On a side note, if you value your lungs and don't enjoy the smell of smoke at all hours of the day, everyone smokes cigarettes here including the manager. You'll find her puffing away right next to the swimming pool and mailboxes around all the children.
