Good and nice looking place. Customer service is to be discussed...
Very poor customer service. Their laundry machine ate my money and they didn't seem to care. They literally shrugged their shoulders and said, "There's nothing we can do." I asked when I would be getting my money back. They didn't know when. Eventually they told me I'd be getting a check in the mail for the funds. They were very defensive trying to explain to me that it's not their fault, that it's some other company's fault, because they contract out their laundry services. Look, I don't care whose fault it is, I just want to do my laundry. I should not have to jump through hoops. I felt they were very disrespectful in dealing with me. They were very vocal about the things they COULDN'T do for me, instead of trying to help me deal with this. Very much "Your problem, now ours." I did not feel sympathy or compassion from them, just defensiveness and disinterest. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. DO NOT RENT here if you like to be treated with dignity and respect.
Have lived here for the past 6 months and it's the best place ever! The apartments are clean and we haven't had any bedbugs or roaches so far. The management (previously Matt and now Megan) is awesome; any kind of maintenance work is looked after immediately once it's reported. The place is quiet and laid-back, the location is really good and well-connected; there's a light rail station down the street, Orbit and Valley Metro bus stops right outside the apartment.
I lived in Foxfire for about a year and a half. My roommate and I were treated horribly. Our first unit was infested with roaches and bed bugs. (Gross) and when we asked for the problem to be taken care of, we were given a run around for at least two months. We ended up living with family during that month as the infestations were so bad. We finally were able to switch units, but the problems didn't stop. Our ac leaked. Noisy neighbors, one of which sped in and got out of her truck HOLDING A BEER. They held no regard for their tennents. We were not informed of when we had to put in a sixty day notice, we were told to put in a 30 day. So we did and got charged. Now we are facing problems because they want to charge an additional 700 dollars for our carpet. Which was stained when we moved in. They didn't treat us with any respect and were very rude. DO NOT LIVE HERE. It may have an appealing location, but it's not worth the hassle. Find somewhere closer to campus or anywhere else!!!!
This is the worst place that I have lived in Arizona. Our neighbors make a tremendous amount of noise and the administration does nothing about it. We also have had ants for 5 month and we had to called a lawyer before they did something about it... and our bikes got stolen a couple of times. DON'T LIVE IN FOX FIRE!
