We have lived here for about a year and a half now and really like it. Maintenance has always been quick to respond, especially when our washing machine started leaking. Most of the staff has been very friendly and helpful, with one or two exceptions. We bumped up from the smallest one bedroom (which really is way too small for two people to live comfortably... It's more like a dorm room) to the larger one bedroom and are much happier. Our apartment is clean, all of the appliances work well and are fairly new, and our pets seem to like it also :) They're very pet friendly here, and also have a lot of community activities like Food Truck Night and playoff watch parties. Sadly, the complex was just bought out and is no longer an Equity Residential apartment, which was a big draw for us, so we may end up leaving and moving to a new equity complex when our lease is up since we'd like to buy a house in the next few years. The complex is now owned by Pinnacle, and I'm not super excited about them so far. The new website no longer allows us to split the rent payment, but the website customer service rep said that may be coming eventually. I sure hope so, otherwise it would be a major inconvenience for us and a big deterrent for renewing. Overall though it's a really nice place to live and we're happy here. For the money, it's not bad, but I still feel it's a little overpriced. Unfortunately that seems to be the way the Denver area is going though, so it may be unavoidable.
I won't lie there's been a few incidents of miscommunication or miss information given. However they are usually pretty accommodating when it comes to fixing their errors. Everyone is wonderful except for 1 specific person and honestly they need to get rid of him he has horrible customer service skills, changes rules and policies as he wants, and unfortunately it's hard to get past him. I was refused to be allowed to talk to the manager and what is phone number he told me to google it myself. Along with adding unwarranted charges to my account, he also refused to accept a rent check. Makes living there very miserable and that's sad because everyone else is so wonderful
So far so good. I moved here from out of state and Jordan was awesome! She was very professional and got back to me quickly and helped answer all my questions. The grounds seem very nice. Mature trees and a neat little apartment community. My apartment itself is very cozy and has been updated so my move in was pleasant.
Excellent staff and service. A little pricey, but you get a great location and amenities. Best gym I've seen in an apartment complex.
2015 - present I spent a lot of time researching apartments in the area and felt The Marks was the best value by far. I've listed off categories that were important to me when making my decision and I hope they can be of value. Location: The location is great! Close access to 85, 285, and I-25, access to the light rail and bus lines, also has a new grocery store down the street. South Broadway has plenty of entertainment and there are numerous parks in the area to relax. Safety: I have been living in this area for 2 years now and have never felt unsafe walking around at night. The apartment staff has always been quick to alert the public of any security issues and I have not seen any apartment resident cause any concern for my safety. Buildings: The apartment buildings are all well maintained but I have not had a chance to really use the public facilities (pool, gym, ect). Neighbors are all very respectful with noise. Parking: You may have to mark by a different building if you arrive late at night, however, overall there are plenty of spaces. They are wide enough that opening car doors will not ding other vehicles. I also feel that residents park respectfully. Apartment: My apartment was clean when I moved in and I had no problems. Obviously with any rental - take pictures and document any issues with unit. I can hear my upstairs neighbor walk around but it is an apartment and I believe that is part of living here. I felt that the trade off was better than paying significantly more renting a house. All units have a name brand washer/dryer and dishwasher. Front Office: Staff is great. They have a system set up for holding UPS/Fed Ex packages. They have office hours 7 days a week and are friendly when working to resolve problems. Lease/Contract: Nothing out of the ordinary. Utilities are accurate and additional fees are similar to other apartments.
